Quince - San Francisco - Photo album

This was a really great experience. Came for my birthday. Drinks were great including the bartenders sazerac rendition. Great starting bites that were fresh with excellent texture. The crawfish was probably the best I’ve had in terms of being cooked perfectly. The plate cleanser was so refreshing. D
Excellent food but rather 'traditional'. Nothing so creative, even in the full tasting menu, that one can acclaim "I've never had anything like this before." The dining room can be a tiny bit brighter. A middle-aged person might have problem reading the menu without his phone's magnifier.
Pretty extraordinary stuff, from the origin stories behind the humble plates and cutlery to the carefully selected and blended ingredients - even the non descript English peas shine when blended with Bay crayfish. Ever present, friendly service. Surroundings are a bit dark and stuffy but that's qu
Awesome venue and very comfortable and friendly dining experience, on top of the impeccable dishes! You will feel fully satisfied in every course! The only pity is the 25% service charge seems to be on the high side.
A meal at this restaurant is much more than a dining experience, it is an enjoyment for all five senses. One must also consider the creativity and efforts of the chef and its team. Everything was delicious and visually appealing. The ingredients utilized, matched and combined to create the flavo
Absolutely amazing experience. The food, service, ambiance was excellent. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Manresa, in Los Gatos, was our favorite go-to place for special celebrations, but it may just have been de-throned. We do have a reservation with Manresa in a couple of months, so it will be f
Came in for the truffle dinner, everything is very tasty. Some dishes are a touch too warm which cooks the truffle too fast. One dish, the pumpkin dish did not go with truffles. But overall, good winter menu, delicious truffle dinner for the season.
Wine pairing price = $275 Value (retail) = $101 <--- Highest retail value pairing in San Francisco of the 25 I've itemized. Markup = 270% 😍😍😍 One of the better wine pairing values in San Francisco with only a 2.7x markup on retail for our December 2019 visit. For other 3-star restaurants, Singleth
From the environment, tableware, to the 10-course pace of serving, to the service, etc., everything at Quince is outstanding. And this Michelin three-star restaurant's cuisine is also outstanding. Every dish is presented delicately and deliciously, and the black cod is especially liked. I like to be
Went here for my birthday dinner with one of my best girlfriends. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable and soooo accommodating. My friend was not feeling too great And had an upset stomach (non restaurant related), and they went thru every effort to make sure she was comfortable from bringing us soda/
It was a fantastic start to our food tour in San Fran/Napa Valley. The staff was exceedingly attentive and spot on. The General Manager, Matt Cirne, was uncommonly generous with his time with us. He shared an excellent list of cocktail bars as well as other restaurants we should consider while our j
My last visit to Quince was roughly 6 years ago, in their old location. The new Quince is certainly more grown up; the old Quince was immensely competent but the new Quince is all that, plus bold and exciting in a welcoming manner. Their pasta dishes are of course their forte. The squid ink pasta wi
Great food, kind knowledgeable and friendly staff, good decor, cant ask for much more. Came here with my wife for anniversary/honeymoon just days after the French Laundry. We liked Quince better in almost every way.
An incredible fine dining experience. The guava granita was the best dessert I've ever had in my life. Quince makes for a very pleasant and memorable evening. Special occasions only, as it's very expensive.
Culinary heaven. This was our first time there and we have been already spoiled by Gary Danko. (see my review there). quincy is at the absolute top of culinary craft, at least on the west coast. while the menu is set and supposedly fixed, our waiter was able to accommodate slight variations. you can
Some of the most extraordinary flavors. Some dishes were unfortunately a bit too oily for my liking. Also, first time waiting for restrooms in a fine dining restaurant (they only have two).
Good food, good service, excellent atmosphere. Two things stand out - food presentation is really nice, instead of having a lot of inedible deco on the plate, they try to plate with food, and the presentation is absolutely gorgeous. We also like how they handle flavor, every dish feels like an inte
