We stayed here one night as they are also a Harvest Host. The staff were all very friendly. The fresh cheese and salsa was very yummy and we bought some for the road.
It was great to see all the friendly farm animals and feed them. (Feed is available in the dairy store for $1.00). The baby lambs were so soft! They also had a few baby cows and I think goats. The animals included chickens, bunnies, donkeys, cows, goats, sheep, ducks, emus, and long horn bulls.
We ate next door for dinner at the Outlaw Saloon and Grill and had very yummy tacos and hamburgers. The staff there were super friendly as well.
We would recommend making the trip out if you are in the area.
Had an awesome time! My family loved it! Especially my 3yr old nephew he loved feeding the animals and the pony ride. Took home some of their yummy asadero jalapeño cheese, homemade butter and two types of their homemade salsa. This place does not disappoint. Had a very enjoyable experience and will definitely return. Thank you!❤
Had so fun here with the kiddos. Feeding the animals and riding the horses was so much fun. Next time we definitely want to buy food and cheese to take home. This is a good place for the small kiddos who love animals and wants to see them up close.
Really fun place to go kill time or just to have fun. The corn to feed the animals is only $1 a bag and it's huge
For the most part all the animal's are active the only one that I've never seen get up is the pig, Had a great experience and a lot of fun will definitely come back.
It was a fun Sunday outing with the family. It has come a long way from what I remember years back. Still the best azadero cheese and they also have a bar restaurant! I had the crispy chile relleno burger with sweer potato fries and it was amazing! Best burger I've ever had...wow!
Great experience! All the Animals were alert and ready for visitors. We purchased the feed inside the main store for $1 per bag. The customer service both on the phone & in person was fantastic. My 3 year old enjoyed it! Will return again.
Only place we go to pick up asaderos and suero (whey) for chile con queso--poured on top of freshly cooked beans and eaten with homemade tortillas. Goes good with fresh green chili from Lujan's Farm.
It's a very nice place to take a stroll. I was only a little disappointed at how dirty the pond was and that it was missing some of the other animals they used to have. Other than that kids enjoyed touching and feeding the animals.
