This place is amazing! Family owned and operated and all the food is home made. The sausage is made on site as well as the lasagna and other favorites. The chicken salad has slow roasted chicken and the beer is local craft brew. Make this your destination in Barrio Logan. You will not be disappointed.

I've spent time on the east coast and can never find a good red sauce anywhere!! Till I came here to this place.....such a bold rich flavor that is still light and not too heavy, hard to explain really, it was just a flavor explosion in my mouth of everything that is delicious, I recommend you try it for yourselves haha the meatballs are just amazing too, as if they were made by someone with just the right sized hands to make them that perfectly compact, yet spongy bounce and bursting with flavor. The other killer part about this place is the staff, the whole family that owns the place was there, don't know if I was just lucky to meet them or if they're there everyday, which wouldn't surprise me with the amount of thought and love that goes into their food. Definitely a must try if you're in the area and want REAL Italian food

I started with the Italian Crafted wings, Italian style seasoning, salt and pepper, champagne vinaigrette. The dusted Romano cheese kicks that wings from good to something special. I ordered a small Antipasto Salad, but it was big enough for two. It contained fresh provolone, mortadella, pepperoni, capricola, salami, black forest ham even castel vetrano olives (Sicilian olives, lightly brined green olives with a mild flavor) and, buttery Lupini beans. The salad could have been a meal in its self. The house special is their Hot Italian Sausage Sub. They grill the onions and bell peppers then melt provolone over the sausage and serve it on toasted Italian roll. This place makes their own sausages and you can taste the difference. You can even get four handmade links to take home. I look forward to coming back and ordering the made daily, fettuccini pasta with the house sausage. I finished my meal with oatmeal, golden raisin cookies that were worth the trip alone. Service was fantastic. Jessica and Erica and knowledgeable. This is a great lunch spot that I look forward to frequenting regularly. I will finish this review with five words, Save room for the cookies!
