Situated right by the beach, cannonball offers amazing sunset views and delicious food. Recommend making a reservation in advance.
They have a huge space and it was pretty packed on a Saturday evening. We had made a reservation and so we were seated immediately.
We had their signature lobster roll and hot sake. The sushi quantity was sufficient for two. The price is based on the market rate at the time. It was around $45 that day but we were so glad we made the choice. Ingredients but they all came together really well to give a great flavor with every bit. Unfortunately, we were still too full from the late lunch we had. So we could not order more. Looking forward to visiting next time to try more stuff.

The location alone will make you fall in love with this place. It's definitely on the pricey side, and the ambiance is a little stuffy, but if you're looking for a fun location with delicious food, tasty beverages, and stellar views, look no further.
We started with the calamari. The kids loved it. My son had the cannonball burger, and the rest of the table had an assortment of sushi. Everything was delicious, although my daughter did think the sushi was bland. Even their spicy mayo was meh.
This place is a bit overpriced, but because of its location, it is understandable. I took a star off because the front staff was kind of rude and the sushi was bland. However, I highly recommend this place.
This place is where it's at on Mission Beach. Some of the best and freshest seafood around. Their sushi is some of the best I've had. Great selection! The cocktails are fantastic and the views and service can't be beat. We always stop here when we're in San Diego! Don't miss this place.
We visit this place every time we come out to Mission Beach and it never disappoints! The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is always fresh and delicious. The view, the vibes are immaculate. 👌 10 out of 10!
I recommend the spicy edemame to start then a lobster roll with your favorite entree. The ceviche is great and the fish tacos!
Awesome experience here. The view is beautiful. Reservations made it simple for our party of 6. Sushi was fantastic and the sushi burrito was so good. Appetizers were good too, we loved the crab spinach dip.

The service was really great! Got seated right away, friendly and attentive staff. Had a dozen oysters, sashimi wrap roll and cannonball burrito roll so good! The Coconut Ginger Panna Cotta was heavenly❣️🤤Also i have a very picky 8yr old eater and even she loved the food. Will definitely go again! Thank you😊
Atmosphere is awesome. Bar table overlooking the ocean is priceless. Dont get the burger. Get sashimi or something more refreshing.
