If you want to pay higher prices for friendly service and a smile, this is the place. If you want 'flavor' and taste is what you're looking for...keep looking. My turkey avocado, tasted just like the tuna salad, both tasted the same, plain, bland. If I didn't order mustard on them, I'd hardly taste anything. Nothing special, but pricey. I'll try a Ruben next time in hopes I don't get another 'clone' of the other 2 sandwiches.

This is a nice deli, pretty fast service, though I would call in if you are going to be there around noon or just after.
Quality food, portions reasonable, value not bad.
Its within walking distance of my work, so it's a good last minute, don't want to drive anywhere option.
one star lost for overall likable, and another that they do have limited deli meat selections, though they do have a lot of menu items for just about anyone. i.e. the Italian sub is just a generic selection of meats, and not the typical you find at most places that have good I.subs. Though good quality meat, which is why I go here semi-frequently

This is a quaint little place! Great Mom n Pop shop! Was greeted right away with a smile, service was fast, helpful and friendly. Food was delish! Had salmon bowl yesterday and today a breakfast burrito. Perfect size for the cost.

They make delicious deli sandwiches super quickly. My favorite is the Unique Special. It's a turkey, bacon, and avocado on sourdough. They don't skimp on the meat either. It comes with a pickle spear, too. It's in a business park on Balboa.

Good food. Had the roast beef sandwich. Service was very quick. Might have been there off peak, by there were still several customers there. Place was clean and well kept. Owner was very pleasant and personable. Was my first time there and would not hesitate to return in the future if I am in the area.

Nice mom and pop deli, that serves lunch meal from traditional hot and cold sandwiches, salads to sushi rolls, with an assortment of drinks, chips and various desserts. Prices are about average. Convenient location, parking limited!

Have visited Unique Deli for over 3 years now and just absolutely love their food. Have yet to have anything even "Okay" from here it is great always.
