Best Pizza and Brew is one of the greatest places to get amazing NY style pizza in San Diego, although they also sell sandwiches and salads if you're not feeling like pizza at a pizza place. They also have hats and shirts at reasonable prices, as well as having a great selection of draft beer. Awesome service. You should definitely go.

BP&B (as we call it) has topped the hub’s and my list of favorite places to eat since moving to Mira Mesa almost 4 years ago! The pizza is hands down the best in town; the variety of toppings is incredible (the White and the Pepperoni Pesto Ricotta are my faves, while hubby loves the BBQ Chicken and Meat Lovers) and the crust is AMAZING (it’s thin and delicious)! We love to sit on the patio (it’s heated during the winter), and sometimes bring our doggo with us and order her a snack from the Doggy Menu - yes, that’s a thing, and BP&B doesn’t mess around! There are some great options for your pupper that are delivered to them along with a fresh bowl of water. The beer menu is rotating and generally pretty varied. I’m so excited they finally started Happy Hour! We have had nothing but pleasant experiences, and especially enjoy chatting with Ciara who is just delightful. Do yourself a favor and visit the Mira Mesa BP&B!!!

Good pizza, a little pricey but its worth it. We had the BBQ pizza and it was fresh and flavorful. The chicken was excellent. The Buffalo wings were great, but they only serve 5 per order. Staff is professional and kind. It's a little hard to get in touch with a live person, at least it was for me when I ordered. I had some questions and I had to call back several times before I got through. They only accept orders online so that may not be an issue for most. I do recommend if you like thin crust pizza.

Very good thin crust pizza. I tried the "2 slices and a soda" deal. Got a cheese slice and a "the works" slice. It's not New York style, but I won't hold that against them: the crust is tasty and they don't overload it with cheese or sauce. It's nicely balanced and delicious. Update: I went back again today. You know what? I'm now convinced that this is the best pizza in Mira Mesa (and probably among the top available in San Diego). Really good crust. Innovative (but not absurd) and delicious toppings. I tried the pesto and the special of the day, meatball -- both were excellent. We tried their meatball appetizer -- 3 meatballs plus generous marinara sauce (they'll throw in a little pasta if you like). Delish! And here's a great deal: show up in the last hour of operation, and slices are just $2.

Let me just say the name says it all Best Pizza I’ve had Chicago and New York Pizza and whatever they are doing in San Diego don’t stop. We came here after a day at La Jolla Beach and felt so welcomed as we walked in by a young man named Devin. Our kids got the two slices and soda we tried the calamari Cesar Salad and the pesto pizza was so freaking delicious. Appreciate you guys and when we return to San Diego we now have a pizza spot.

Very good tasting pizzas. I tried the pesto pizza. Delicious and the crust was thin. They have a large selection of beers, no pitchers but you can get real pints, 16 ounces in large plastic cups (see my photos). I tried the Mexican style beer and it was smooth and refreshing. It complemented the pizza very well. Service was was helpful and fast. We got there before 3 PM on a Sunday and sat right down. About 3:30 PM it got crowded and a wait line formed. They have two clean bathrooms. I will definitely be back.
