If you want a true honest response, here it is. My first time here was great since they also had live music. This place is nice but when it gets late, it gets super packed. There are more tables than a dance floor. I get that it’s also a restaurant earlier in the day but if it’s going to be a place to hang out at night… it needs to be bigger. I could barely move and I kept getting squished. You will barely have room to dance. Whoever owns the place needs to rent out a bigger space. This place does have potential.
Our family with young kids had a really great time here. The service by Caesar was outstanding!! He had great recommendations and options to switch to Vegetarian options. The food portions were perfect and the drinks were made really well! Highly recommend this place…
Yo. As a lonely female traveler from Michigan, Jordan could not have made me feel more welcome and safe in the environment of Juan Tequila. Lemme say, the quesabirria- ON POINT. I have never, I can’t even explain. Omg. I have never experienced bar food at the level of Juan Tequila, nor have I had such a friendly conversation with a bartender (Jordan) as I have tonight. Thank you so much for making this Michiganian welcome in your establishment. P.S. Give Jordan a raise, he deserves it for his kindness and personability.

From the start the service was super friendly.
The waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and advised on drinks to select. We didn't dine but the food did look good.

This place won us over on all levels. The ambiance is super cool, there was amazing live music playing, the service was spectacular, the mezcal cocktail was on point and the tacos were great! It's rare when everything aligns like that, but it did! We had such a great dinner here. It was so romantic and so perfect. Love love love!!
I have to admit I was a little leary going in because it was a little early so the place was a little empty. To our surprise the music was great and the bartender was amazing. Oddly enough he knew what we needed without us saying a word. We went from an awkward situation to completely relaxed just enjoying the environment. The bartender even gave us a rundown of the schedule so we would know what was happening and the vibe for the night. I will definitely be going back because that was an unexpected great time.
The service was on point, the food was average, the drinks were great and the music by Pablo Cantua couldn't be better.
Took my cuz here, who is from out of town and while it's a small bar in SD (gaslamp) they serve amazing food.. the sushi was one of the best I've had and the drinks were pretty good. They have live music and their staff is friendly and attentive.
Server was incredibly kind and made the best recommendations. Mocktail option provided was also tasty and just as yummy as their caddy margarita!
