Just stopped by to pick up a slice of pizza that I had from the free pizza on my birthday, and was very impressed by the variety here. I remember they only had pizza options back when I was in high school and I haven't been here for years.

Ended up taking the Hawaiian pizza since I've never had one before. Very intrigued by the sweet and savory combination here that I actually quite enjoyed it. Had it a few days later and just heated it up on the stove to get the crust crispy. It was still so good!
Good ratio of toppings to base as well. And also very big slice!
I got two large slices of pizza and one drink for $12. The pizza was good but greasy, and they didn't have any ice, so no cold soda. The employees were nice, though, building was clean, and it is close to the restrooms.
Went there quite often during mall visits while staying in SD. Stable quality. Combos allow for some side salad which I would recommend.
They have fast and friendly service. I ordered a Stromboli which I've never had before so I have nothing to compare it to. It's essentially like a pizza inside of baked dough, and like an open hot pocket. I had the one with cheese bacon and sausage and it was pretty good. I think I'll stick with their pepperoni slice next time, it's been my favorite since I was about 5 years old. I can't believe I've been eating Sbarro for 25 years!
As usual, Sbarro had amazing pizza. I ate in the outdoor plaza, which had lots of birds that is not necessarily my issue but more of the pizza. As usual, Sbarro's pizza, as I mentioned, is perfect. However, their pizzas are heavy in grease to the point where you should grab a napkin or two to push on the top of the pizza to grab some of the grease.
Always a good value. I had the penne pasta; chicken parm, and marinara on the side. My orders are always a little customer and the staff is very accommodating. Thank you Sbarro's.
Big slices, good pizza, nothing special and kind of bland, but definitely not bad at all. I would eat it again, I just wouldn't go out of my way to get a slice. Good, but not too good.

It is still Sbarro now known as "La Cucina" which is confusing to me. My daughter loves going there for the pepperoni pizza. I like it, too when I want pizza at anytime when the mall is open.
The staff here was super nice and got my whole pizza made fresh in under 15 minutes. They have delicious baked ziti and Stromboli as well!
