Great Wow & Trinitea Tea

I’ve been going to this place on and off for longer than I can remember. Every time I go, I order the same thing that was taken off the menu like 8 years ago. And without fail, my drink is always perfect, exactly what I want. I’ve ordered this exact drink at other boba shops, I don’t even live in SD anymore, but I always come back here whenever I visit for that perfect drink. Thank you for making the best honey lemon black tee in Southern California!

I wanted to try a new boba spot near home and landed here on labor day. The staff were friendly and my drinks came out so quick! The seating was half full with others enjoying boba, reading, or browsing their laptops. The music was relaxing lofi. I ordered jasmine milk tea with boba (pictured) and my husband got a strawberry banana smoothie. Both drinks were delicious! The boba seemed a little more firm than I'm used to, but it was not an issue. Loved this place and will stop by again in the future once the heat subsides in this neck of the woods.

Honey boba needs work, it tastes great but it seems to either be slightly too big (and/or) too clumpy. This makes it difficult to suck up through the straw. The result being you drink all your tea and are left with majority of the boba to eat afterwards. Other boba places, like Ding Tea or even most restaurants make the perfect size boba so that you can enjoy the boba throughout the whole drink, finishing both the boba and tea at almost the same time. It helps you drink your tea slower, making you savor the tea and boba for longer. However it is slightly less expensive to order boba tea from here compared to Ding Tea, (I spend about $3 less ordering 4 drinks for the family) which is the main reason I keep coming back. I just wish they would fix their boba.
