This place is fantastically great not only as both a public house and neighborhood gathering spot, but also as a fun location to meet your broskies and have a cocktail, including something to eat as well. Did you know that you can be on the scene and have a great time? It's true and completely available for you when you visit this bar and eat some of their food and have a delicious drink, all for your own pleasure. They have trivia night sometimes, so you'll want to check that out for sure, especially if you enjoy trivia and being at the pub and laughing and answering questions for the victory. You will love it for sure!

The best local bar in PB! This place is ten times better than any place on the main drag in PB. Very local low key crowd. There is very much a sports bar vibe, but with much better food. Not just fried bar food, but options for any diet. Cheap drinks and great service. You order at the bar and also the kitchen window. Which I like because there is not a waitress having to come by every few minuets. Outdoor seating with no heaters. Street parking only, but this part of PB is not the worst.

I’m not going to say that I know a lot of places to get cheesesteaks in San Diego, but I will say that this is the best place I know, by far. Tasty sandwiches (they’re big - get a half unless you’re starving), great beer, and casual bar vibes. Feels like you’re a regular even if it’s your first time in. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken tots and any of the cheesesteak sandwiches!

We were here Saturday night for Cali cheese steaks and tots - so good! The last few times we went they weren't serving food so I've been waiting for this delicious sandwich. To top it off, Edgar was excellent. He was very proactive and provided the best service on an insanely busy night. We were thrilled with the food and experience. The vinegar on the lettuce is so tasty! Thank you Edgar for the great service and delicious food!
