Great food, at least everything we tried was beyond expectations.
If pressed our minor nitpicks would be slightly overeager service, thick cut over spicy chili with the pho lacking the delicacy of the genuine deal, veg pho we ordered with beef stock came with veg stock regardless, and too much needless single use plastic.
A solid spot, thumbs up.
Lunch with my son.....food was very good, service was prompt and courteous. Price might have been a little high, but we both had a beer and I had a bowl, and we shared 3 sushi rolls. I enjoyed it and will be back again soon.
The food is really good, everything cooked to order, as ordered (the restaurant allows for substitutions and modifications). The only thing that can be better is the service. I walked in and asked for the restroom, to wash my hands and prepare to it, and I was automatically and very rudely told that the restroom was for customers only which was very off putting BUT exclusive of the poor customer service, food was great, the place was clean and well kept. Some of the furniture was cheap but I see the effort. Not sure if I’d return for dine in.
Honestly, everything is good here but the sushi is the best I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in Japan. The sushi is that good because of the craftsmanship of the sushi maker, creating is like art. Ever flavor in the rolls work together perfectly. I recommend the Downtown Roll and the Showtime roll(add spicy crab). The first one is cooked if you don’t like raw rolls and the second one raw and delicious. We also had the Vegetable Phó and it was well prepared especially if you like Phó.
The food was awesome, just like when I was here back in August 2019. 😁👌.
I’ve ordered food to go in the past but this is the first time I’ve dined in the restaurant and we went here on a Tuesday between lunch and dinner. The food is very fresh, the place is clean and very nice aesthetically, and there’s plenty of parking by the bridge so I didn’t have to worry about that. We ordered Thai tea, a Cherry Blossom roll, and the Joker Roll. I thought the Joker roll was my favorite until I tried the cherry blossom roll which has salmon, tuna and scallops with eel sauce and I thought all the flavors play really nice all together. Our sushi chef Pedro made my daughter this cute orange dessert which I thought was really sweet. 10/10, I’m always gonna be a returning customer not just for the food but also for their excellent customer service.
I always drive by this place, and finally got my family and I to try it. So good, and great prices! I got the vegetable curry ramen, delicious! Paid around 13 dollars for it and still couldn’t finish it. Little to no air conditioning inside, will definitely come back during the winter time, the temperature of the food was so fresh and hot. We bought another salmon poke bowl, it was definitely not for me, but if you like very fishy stuff and pickled things you’ll definitely like it. The combinations were perfect, I didn’t enjoy the fish eggs, or pickled items. Love their vegetable options!
Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine, nice mix, friendly staff. Food arrive at a good pace. Would definitely recommend because the prices were good, and not overpriced like some other nearby places.
Overall good experience, servers were experienced and super well timed with appetizer to entree transition. Vibe was super chill and pho and flaminpenos were super good. Anyways besides being right by the freeway the ambiance brings you into a complete dinner setting. Menus well rounded so there's something for everyone.
We ordered sushi, pho, and poke. The food was fresh and flavorful. You can really see the excellence in the details. Every slice was on point and the flavor pairings were creative.
The servers were very friendly and service was speedy. Definitely enjoyed and look forward to future visits!
