Love the patio here, we were able bring Oskar and enjoy the specials. There was a DJ and games with prizes. So much fun, thank you🎄🎅 I would suggest getting a side of habenaro sauce if you want your meal spicy. The enchiladas de papa is my preferred vegetarian dish. Going back for weekend brunch!

Love their food. As a Mexican I have had my grandma's cooking n mamas cooking so when I go out to eat Mexican food I have high expectations/standards. I have to say El Zarape has some of the best Mexican food this side of the border.

The food and wait staff were fabulous. My only issue were the beans. They weren’t very good. I got the poblano omelette. It was delicious. The passion fruit margarita was good.

Came here for dinner with friends on a Saturday. It was not busy at anytime while we were there. I ordered a pitcher of the margarita, which had a good mix; not too strong on the alcohol. For food, I got the Mixed Taco Trio with Pork Belly, Baja Fish, and Birria. I like the Baja Fish the best, which had a crispy breading. The Birria seemed a bit dry, which it could have used some of its broth juice. I liked how the refried beans were served in a small bowl, separating it from the tacos and not ruining the tortillas. The service was good. It took a while to get our food order in, but our waiter was more attentive after. The place is clean and had a good vibe. If I'm back in the area and wanted Mexican food, I would come back again to try other dishes, and maybe retry the Birria taco.

The lengua chili verde is delicious! One of the best places in San Diego to have great Mexican food. Luis, our server was awesome! Very attentive and friendly. Drinks were great!

Food was ok. Had the shrimp cocktail which was good. Good size good taste and good prize. Wife didn't like the Mole poblano. The atmosphere was great. The outside eating area especially. They have a huge screen for sports. No parking near by. Had to park a couple of blocks away.

I have to say I love this place. This month was my first time there, and I've already ate their food three times this month. First time I went was for dinner. The decor is super cute. I had their michelada in a blender ! I'm not a beer person but it was delicious. We went again for brunch and I would recommend getting there early. We had a group of 5 get there at 10am. Super fast service and eveything was good. We were there for a little bit and large parties everywhere. Poor waiter was overwhelmed with parties. They have all you can drink and all you can eat options for brunch which is awesome and reasonably priced. I had unlimited margarita flights and they were delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

This place is a must, our server was amazing. Even when it got really busy, still managed to keep our cups full of alcohol, coffee, or water. Food was great, almost close to home. They do have a special of endless brunch and mimosas or michelada flighta for less than 53$. Definitely coming back!!
