We had a truly memorable evening here, treating my 94-year-old dad to dinner. The service, thanks to our exceptional waiter Paul, was impeccable. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully prepared. Additionally, the casual outdoor wine bar area provided a super fun atmosphere, and our waitress Katie was excellent on the night we sat outside. It's a fantastic discovery, and we look forward to returning on our next trip to San Diego to visit family.

1000/10 stars! We had the best experience tonight here, When we first walked in we were greeted by the Host & her Trainee and they got us settled in no time, they were so nice & helpful. Our Waitress Nicole was amazing! She was so friendly and knowledgeable and ensured we had an amazing time . The drinks were delicious. Calamari was to die for and we split the Duck breast as our main and it was one of the best I ever had. Even the server assistants were so kind & sweet when they were changing out our plates and dropping off food. Cannot wait to come back here

We went for our anniversary. We had a nice window booth and the dining experience was relaxed. The food was high quality, prepared well and very good. On the expensive side and appeared to cater to business customers at least the night we were dining. We ordered a salad to share, a main dish (steak for me and fish for my wife) two sides (the creamy mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus (the asparagus was delicious) and the gf dark chocolate cake also delicious. It was way too much food but we were celebrating and the extra food came home with us and will make another very nice meal. My wife had a very nice New Zealand white wine and I was the designated driver so I stuck with the iced tea. Overall a very nice anniversary dinner. I would definitely do it again.

The ambiance is great and nice variety on the menu. Katie was amazing and gave great recommendations! The staff I interacted with were so friendly and polite. I highly recommend the slow braised angus beef short rib. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

Fine wine, delicious oysters, juicy and well marbled ribeye, exquisite lobster, scrumptious brussel sprouts, cheesy shoestring fries, and decadent butter cake. A classy location for a celebration dinner. Worthy of expensive taste for a climactic taste buds experience. Fine dining and service at its best!!

We stopped here for lunch and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and they have a dog friendly patio. The mall was very busy but throughout our lunch the place stayed pretty empty, so if you're at UTC and looking for a calm and quiet place for a lunch this could be it. They have a large wine selection, as you would expect from their name. They had a good choice of wines by the glass, as well as several cocktails. All the drinks we tried were very good. The food was excellent. It was a very pricy lunch, but it's the type of food where the quality seems to actually match what you're paying. The pasta in my bison bolognese tasted handmade, and the simple bread we ordered as an appetizer was some of the softest and freshest tasting bread we've had. I was very satisfied with everything I ate, and while I wasn't excited to see the size of the bill I didn't feel ripped off either.

The food was excellent, and the boar was exceptional. The creme brulee was also fantastic. The portions are typical of an upscale restaurant, so if you are hungry, just an entree will not be enough. The mains were 30 to 50 bucks, so a bit pricey. My only minor complaint is the service was just ok. At that price point, I kind of expect the wait staff to know who ordered what in a group. Two waiters came at different points, and the handoff wasn't seemless. Generally pretty minor overall.

We came here on UCSD graduation weekend but were still able to walk-in and enjoy a nice early evening dinner. Service = 5, Food = 4, Ambience = 5 The heirloom tomato salad was disappointing. The "different" calamari was filling for an appetizer (meaty french-fry like sticks). The pork belly starter was also very large (so glad I had this as my main). The cocktails and wines by the glass selection was fun/tasty.

Our family thoroughly enjoys dining at the Winery (UTC). The food never fails to impress us, and Savannah's exceptional service is a major reason why we keep returning. She has a warm and inviting personality that makes you feel right at home. Savannah goes above and beyond to ensure that your experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

I’ve been here several times when visiting San Diego. Overall this is a great place for great food. The bar decor and atmosphere are all wonderful. I’ve had the hamburger and last night the 8 oz filet mignon. Tender with lots flavor and juicy. The mashed potatoes were perfect. The cocktails full and well made. Service was great as well. We decided to order desserts and had the butter cake and ice cream affogato style. We waited and waited and waited … No dessert Finally asked our server and he was able to track it down. I must admit the dessert was disappointed The ice cream had melted and the butter cake was dry. It took away from the amazing meal we had. Perhaps another time
