Bud And Rob's Downtown, A New Orleans Bistro - San Diego - Photo album

Bud’s mission to serve authentic Creole and Cajon food in the New Orleans manner has accomplished. I enjoyed my first dining experience @budandrobs 👍🏼 Thank you for bringing New Orleans to San Diego. We tried a few signature dishes - Pasta Jambalaya, Soft-Shell Po Boy, Jalapeño Cornbread and a piec
Small place you should not skip if in SD. Great New Orleans fish & chips. Red beans and rice, gumbo, bisque, Cesar salad, all flavorful!
This place is amazing. I love cajun food and get to New Orleans a couple of times a year. The food at Bud & Rob's is as good or better than any I have had including Mr. B's or Commander's Palace in New Orleans. Everything was great but the jalapeño cornbread and jambalaya pasta were incredible and
Good atmosphere, friendly staff, best shrimp poboys west of Louisiana, and overall great flavor.
Great spot! Got a reservation for 2 at 7pm, promptly seated at our table. Got Sweet Arnold and and beer, beignets, shrimp etouffee, Louisiana chicken on pasta. Great atmosphere, perfectly attentive, amazing flavors. Check them out!
This is one of my favorite, regular go-to spots for Cajun/Creole food. Bud and Rob’s has the best gumbo, pasta jambalaya, Louisiana chicken, and catfish fingers in San Diego, and all at the best value! It’s run by a small-sized, friendly staff who will make you feel right at home. If you’re looking
Grilled fish was awesome. Service great. Food fresh. Made to order. Jazz vibes. Louisiana style.
Just wow! Authentic New Orleans cuisine that’s absolutely delicious. Would eat here again
What can I say that hasn’t already been said? This place is 🔥🔥🔥. Family and I loved it. Everything was great. Ambiance, value, food quality and service. Shrimp and grits are definitely as described- to die for. 😂 blackened cat fish was amazing as well. Daughter had the soft shelled crab with red bea
Visited from N. County and was so happy with our experience. We had a reservation at 530 pm but hit traffic enroute. I called the restaurant to give them a heads up and spoke with Ryan who assured us we would be seated when we arrived. Our waiter was Wesley who was amazing, very friendly and attenti
This is one of my favorite places in all of San Diego! The best shrimp, Po Boy sandwiches and New Orleans fare you can find! Top it off with the delicious bread pudding! You will be hooked! Pun intended!
This sister location to one of the best gems San Diego has to offer is a gift from that, that is holy. If you've ever had the pleasure of going to New Orleans and feasted on the flavors difficult to duplicate, this place will spark all the proper synapses to transport you back to that specific time
Amazing food! Excellent service. The jambalaya pasta was incredible. Alligator sausage doesn't sound good but it was fantastic!
Delicious food and awesome ambiance! It's a smaller place, so try to make a reservation! Loved the crawfish etoufee. My husband got the po-boy which he also devoured. The beignets aren't as good as the ones from NOLA, but still were a great sweet treat to finish the meal! Would definitely go back.
Very charming and unassuming place with incredible food. My friend and i are staying in a hotel nearby so we decided to wander around the area. We got hungry around 3pm and looked up places to eat nearby, and Bud & Rob's popped up. Since I love shrimp and grits, we decided to give this place a try.
This place was delicious. Service was really good as well. We went at lunch time though. Not sure how dinner service is. Only downside is the place is small but cute. We had a group of 6 and they had to do some rearranging but they got us seated very fast. Oh and it's downtown so you have ti find pa
Top tier! My husband and I have been wanting to come to Bud and Robs for a while. Yesterday we finally made it yesterday for our Valentines Day dinner and it was fantastic! Rob was very attentive and service was amazing! We can’t wait to come back!
Flew into San Diego to witness. Our nephew graduation was at Bishop High School. My sister in law and family live in Temecula. She has been choosing this restaurant since her husband and his family r from New Orleans. We are from San Antonio, Tx. We enjoyed our services!!! Food for myself and in-l
Stumbling in dt and for a last minute dinner on a Friday night, they take reservations and usually have tables available. Known for cajon/creole. Can't go wrong with the soft shell crab, jalapeño corn bread, and the taste of new Orleans. Good date night, staff and service is great.
