Great spot to get some good sushi. Highly recommend the salmon skin hand roll. Best I have had.
Our favorite sushi spot in PB. Consistently fast service and creative rolls. Great hot sake.
A satisfactory experience with reasonable pricing and service. We entered on a busy Saturday night, be aware that the place gets packed! Out of the items we ordered, the Miso Ramen and the Chicken Yakisoba were the best; I highly recommend both of them. Our waiter was patient and friendly, and the food came out relatively fast, which we appreciated. If you're looking for some moderately priced Japanese food in San Diego, this is a great place to go.
We've been coming to this place for years. Our favorite sushi place in Pacific beach. Great staff, sushi chefs and location they also play some pretty good music. The food is absolutely good and perfect for any time you have that need for some sushi.
For years, we have been regular patrons of this establishment, making it our go-to sushi spot in Pacific Beach. The staff, including the sushi chefs, is exceptional, and the location adds to the overall experience. The music they play is also quite enjoyable. The food is consistently excellent, making it the perfect choice whenever you have a craving for sushi.
Excellent service since the beginning looking to cover all requests, quality food and hot sake, you should try the chef's combo with 12 niguiris and miso soup, it was amazing. Very thankful with Helena and the staff, you made a great experience better
Food was delicious!! The place was nice and they were able to fit us all (12 people). The staff was super polite and attentive. Prices are affordable and the kids loved everything.
Sushi is excellent but the service is hit or miss(sometimes they are very short staffed). Pay attention to the menu and you will notice a lot of the rolls have the same combination of ingredients. Overall a good place worth going to.
I hadn't stepped foot into PB since my young, belligerent days, so I didn't know what to expect. Came here after the manchild's saxophone lessons nearby and, like every teenage boy, he was starving. He had the Teriyaki Chicken bento box. The chicken was juicy and saucy, and came on a giant sizzling platter. The cuts of fish on my nigiri were surprisingly top-notch! Everything from the Uni and Toro, to the Hamachi and Mackerel. We ended up taking most of his box home because we were enjoying the nigiri so much. Definitely bookmarking this place for the future.
The food is almost worth the painfully slow service and sticky tables. The waitress was great making it a 'would do again' spot.
Our late lunch (1400) should have meant reasonable service, but we waited an hour for our food.
