Oltre Mare - San Diego - Photo album

The owner greeted us at the door about ten minutes before opening on a Friday night. We had no reservation but she happily seated us. The service was excellent and so was the food. Definitely coming back again on our next trip to our favorite city!
The owner was wonderful with our rambunctious 2 year old. The focaccia was pillowy crunchy bits of heaven. The ricotta gnocchi was my favorite but the mussels and the pizza were incredible. I felt like I was in Italy. What a gem!
This is a very nice place with a great location and atmosphere. I am not sure what Google's cutoff is for two dollar signs but this is more of a three dollar sign place. You should bring in your own bottle of wine, or other drinks, since everyone else does it and you'll feel out of place if you don'
The wild boar bolognese here is great. The warm focaccia bread given for starter was also tasty. The restaurant has a nice cozy setup and it’s BYOB so bring a bottle of your favorite vino
We had a great dinner with my wife and 2 boys. The owner was so nice and checked in on us several times. She took our boys back to the kitchen to show them how they cook the pizzas. We will be back on our next visit. Another plus is its BYOB.
Wow, I was so excited to learn about this place! It is somewhat under the radar, a couple blocks off of the main area, and no big sign, but it is worth your while to go. The wild boar pappardelle was amazing and overall the menu is seafood centric, hence the name. Be sure to bring your own wine as t
Oltre Mare is it nice little Italian restaurant in Pacific Beach. I thought the food was good and the service was decent. One of the unique things about this restaurant is. There is no corkage fee and everyone in the restaurant had brought in their own bottle or two of wine. I ordered a pizza and it
Delicious food, wonderful owners!!! The was a raucous crowd at the next table which made it difficult to be heard, but the owner handled them beautifully!! The were vegetarian options, which was awesome. My dad likes the "no corkage/bring your own wine" aspect. It was a great evening!
Very delicious food and extraordinary friendly service. The restaurant is small, a reservation is recommended. The menu is not big but everything seems to be fresh cooked. If you want to drink wine you have to bring it by yourself.
Amazing small restaurant, people who leave anything but a 5star review are just rude. The gnocchi was amazing as was the pappardelle fungi. Very flavorful food and the staff are extremely friendly. It is byob but not a problem at all.
I would give this 10 stars! The service was wonderful and the food was even better. I had the spaghetti alle vongole and my partner had the ricotta gnocchi. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Will definitely return on future trips to SD!
Best pasta I’ve had in the US, I usually don’t leave reviews but this food and service was incredible. A cute little restaurant tucked away in PB, you can tell all the food was handcrafted and the ingredients were thoughtfully picked out. Thank you to the owners and chef for an incredible meal!!
We stumbled on this amazing little place on accident. Let me tell you, it will now be a place I go to every time I am in So Cal! The ambiance, the service and the food highly exceeded my expectations. I feel the price of dinner was well worth it! The food portions and flavor are perfect. Thank you
This place is an awesome family run Italian restaurant. Food is great especially the pasta dishes. Their food rank 1st for me on Italian dishes. Service is also quick and friendly. I will be back soon.
As an Italian I can say that this is by far the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at in the US. Finally a place I can come to when I get homesick. The pasta is homemade and you can really taste it. The atmosphere is cozy and makes you feel like you are invited in someone's house instead of being on
Local PB find - authentic Italian food with BYO policy. Basic decor. Small place. Super friendly service. Interesting specials - enjoyed my venison pappardelle. Fresh focaccia was yummy.
Nothing better than a small Italian restaurant attended by the owners. Husband is the cook and wife is the server, small menu with plates! Also amazing that you can bring your wine at no additional cost! We had the Antipasto Di Terra, Ravioli con Gamberoni which without a doubt is within the top 3 p
