The Tractor Room - San Diego - Photo album

Wow! Incredible brunch offerings at gargantuan portions. Southern comfort foods such as biscuits, eggs, and cornbread with "gamey" protein choices such as elk, wild boar, venison, and lamb in addition to more traditional bacon, pork, and beef. The lamb scramble was exceptional, with good balance of
I went here because the hash house down the street was too busy and was seated right away. The food came quickly, the proportions were huge, and the food was great. The menu is diverse enough that one has a difficult time choosing which delectable dish they are going to attempt to ingest. The qual
Came here when the line at Hash House was too long. I'm glad I did. The portions are also large, but I feel that the overall quality of the food is a little higher here. The service is great, the food comes out quick, everything is really polished. The prices are good too. Give the tractor room a sh
A bit of a wait. Located near hash house in hillcrest. I love that they have a waiting section on the side with game boards, ping pong table and coffee/water. They will text you or come get you once the table is ready. The inside is pretty small so you have to maneuver through the crowded tables to
Meat. Lots of different meat. Corn bread that is seriously some of the best corn bread I've ever had. A fun funky decor. Delicious drinks, amazing food. Everything was cooked to perfection, the meat nice and tender, the cheese plate beautifully presented. Going with a big group seems to be a li
What's can be said about this San Diego institution? Its amazing. Score a seat or two in the hidden corner of the bar and people watch for a couple of hours. The food is good (meat focused) and the bartenders know their stuff. If a drink is not right they are happy to adjust your beverage. Brunch is
Big portions and tasty. I shared a plate of the wild boar hash with the corn bread and still went home with left overs. It comes in an iron skillet and it's large. I would highly recommend sharing. Only thing i would hope they would change is to maybe expand the restaurant. Their wait is just as bad
One of my favorite brunch spots in SD. I love their fried chicken hash. Portions are huge so come with a big appetite, share or bring home leftovers. They take reservations for brunch which is AMAZING! (Esp. when their are hoards of people waiting for hours outside of Hash House, their sister restau
This is a great place to try out some tasty venison vittles! Although it was a bit expensive, it was still good. I wasn't too hungry when I went so I just helped myself to the Wild Boar Spring Rolls which were really good. They sit it on a salad bed which was drizzled with a balsalmic vinegrette
Great food. Prices were unfortunately on the high side, however it makes up for a larger plate. Waiters took a while to come around, but it seemed really busy so I won't blame it on them completely.
The dishes are made for beasts! Servings bigger than Hash House down the street. I ordered a chicken and they brought me an entire f****** chicken! Like the whole thing, wrapped in bacon with a gallon of mashed potatoes on the side. Sweet Jesus, I ate every last bite.
I love this place...the service is great, the food outstanding and from what I hear the cocktails are good....I don't drink. Reservations are recommended its a small place....my only complaint is the tables are small and impossible to fit all the plates they serve......which is a problem I can deal
First time. Can't waite to comebak. Was there for breakfast. Best breakfast I have had in a long time. Exellent choices, lot of food. Some of us split a plate. Recommended.
Went more than a year ago with friends and forgot to leave a review. The food was so amazing it was one of the first recommendations to come to mind today for someone who is visiting San Diego!
If you love whiskey you'll love their cocktails. And the menu selection of game meats is so delicious.
