Taste Of The Himalayas - San Diego - Photo album

The ambience was amazing. We ordered butter chicken which was average, chicken momos were authentic and seemed freshly made and veg pakoras were good too. Overall the food was good. Would like to try some other dishes sometime when I am back here.
Amazing food. I came around lunchtime, and they offered lentil soup, which was great! I ordered the chicken momos, malai kofta, and garlic Naan. Everything was superb
Service was very poor. So cutting one star for that. But everything tasted very good. We ordered: - Samosa- Hot and not oily. The potato and pea filling was rightfully balanced with flavor. - French fries- Crispy, light on the oil. Very good. - Daal Tadka - too good and smoky flavor. Glad that we
I think I have found it the best Indian-Himalayan food in all of San Diego! I will sure to add this to my go to places on the weekends! The staff here is some of the nicest I have encountered in all of San Diego and very helpful. Something you do not see in other restaurants is the statement "Pleas
Such an unexpected surprise. This is a charming restaurant and the food....the most amazing food. The garlic naan was superb. Truly a fantastic restaurant!
I ordered it for delivery and got the Himalayan Biryani and the Lamb Biryani. Both were actually really good. Very distinct flavors, cooked just right, nice blend of raisins and vegetables. The Himalayan Biryani was a nice mix of lamb and chicken, but only one piece of shrimp. Small container of
Amazing food. They had a large group in the restaurant the night we were there but they worked quickly and efficiently. I plan to eat here when I am in San Diego again. Highly recommend.
I love Indian food, and this food was overall pretty good. I will say, the flavor was good, but different from what I expected. We ordered the vegetable samosa, lintel soup, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and of course cilantro garlic naan. The Samosa was great, love the sauces that come w
A vegan taste treat! What a nice find for authentic and spicy Tibet and Indian food. The dinner started with a bowl of yellow Dahl soup that was exquisite. The lentils were done just right and the soup was tasty but not overpowering. The next appetizer was the Samosa and it was fresh and hot and he
I was around the neighborhood and I decided to have my dinner there, at first when I parked I didn't expect a cozy restaurant, it was. I like the vibe, the staff is friendly and helpful but be careful when they ask about the spice level 😋, I have attached the pics.
O wow you love Indian subcontinent food in San Diego and the ambience.. just go..lot of dishes to choose from with a good serving size. In drinks they have wine n beer though no whisky. That you may note. We had great lentil soup, biryani n kadai paneer.. awesome. Staff are friendly and service is v
I was here about 2.5 years ago and I liked it, the tables needed work but the food was great so I decided to go back and was not disappointed, I asked for the most expensive item on the menu the rack of lamb (ribs of lamb) and I was very very good, they also have a very good and easy to read menu w
The food are good. I took kids for New Year's Day 2019 but the service is not so great they barely acknowledge us when we arrived and didn't tell us to wait or follow him to our table.
