Holy moly. The beers, the food, the atmosphere. So relaxing and the staff were great. We shared a pizza and bread pudding for dessert. Wow! We go back once a week.
1st Visit - Food is great. Place is to cold and they had to move us to sister restaurant. They brought all the food to different location to make us happy.
2nd visit -service in this place by Nick was awesome 👏 We were very tired and we have two picky kids. Nick was our server. He had the food all correctly done. Dinks were perfect specially apple cider. Nick was on top of every table and little requests.
Many thanks
Urge Gastropub has been around for a few years now, but they find ways to keep it fresh and interesting!
The breakfast menu is great, with flavorful and unique choices. For example, the pork omelettes were great, and something I haven't had from anywhere before! Urge has always been worth a visit, but the breakfast here is noteworthy on top of that! There's also a mimosa sampler that's perfect to start your Saturday with!
As a note for the new breakfast menu, it is only available Saturday and Sunday! Urge is also much slower than nearby breakfast restaurants, so the service is much faster and more pleasant than what you'd expect.
As always, Urge provides great service and food! Fresh and made to order, as well as a wide selection of beers and drinks. My waiter, Mike, was also super friendly and made my time here even better!
Enjoyed a great lunch 1st time at Urge. We had a pizza, macaroni & cheese, the pastrami sandwich and shared a charcuterie board. They have a great beer selection and wine. Outdoor seating. Very comfortable indoors nice & cool on a warm day.
Love this place for lunch. Excellent outdoor seating for some fresh air, sunshine, and a break from the office. They have a burger and beer lunch special that is a total steal. With multiple burgers to choose from and an extensive beer menu you can't go wrong. Additionally, on Wednesdays they have a dollar wing deal when purchased in counts of 6. Great snack with your burger or get 12 and call it a meal.
Excellent meal here on a Sunday afternoon. Helpful staff, sun filled patio, and delicious food
We grabbed a quick drink here at the bar right before close. They had a plethora of beer selections and options on tap along with a decent wine menu and quite a few cider options. The blueberry cider was delicious!! As was the watermelon cider. We would get either again. Very trendy, cute spot with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The bartender Tom was so nice, friendly, and talkative and had great personalized suggestions for us based on what kinds of drinks we like.
Great food, friendly and knowledgeable staff in a fun place to hang out or have dinner. Inside/outside seating. Great craft beer selection.
Urge Gastropub shares its menu with The Barrel Room so there are a lot of menus to go through. It’s almost overwhelming but we got through it and picked jambalaya and caprese pizza add pepperoni. I liked the jambalaya and it was surprisingly tomatoey but very good. I was told the balsamic was a little heavy on the pizza otherwise it was tasty. Right now I’m not sure what’s going on with the wine selection or if the waiter didn’t know much about wine as he is only 20 and not allowed to open the bottle. We ordered a blend and he came back with an open bottle of Cabernet without checking with us first before the bartender uncorked the bottle. It was a little bit of a struggle to find out what they actually had but eventually we were able to find something. I assume that it’s still a struggle to run a business with Covid. We were patient with the waiter and I tipped him well. I would go back as I enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere and the food.
Last week we had a nice anniversary meal at Urge after finding the Barrel Room closed with little explanation. Service was great and we shared a huge plate of Calamari. I honestly think they would sell more of this appetizer if the portion size and price were cut in half. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich which was very good but somehow missed the description stating it had lots of raw Jalapenos on it. The smokey meat was tender and tasty but think they may alienate some people with these very hot chilies. A better choice might be a milder grilled Anaheim Chile or just serve them on the side. My wife had a pizza and the crust was exceptional. She loved it. What's with a beer list that is predominantly bitter IPSs? Where is an Octoberfest brew or Amber lager? I gave up an ordered a glass of wine.
Despite these minor shortcomings we will be back. I am a retired Chef.
