Thanksgiving dinner was most excellent - beyond expectations! Partner and I shared a dinner and still couldn't finish it. But we did finish dessert which was a superb Pumpkin cream cheesecake... Only negative was the outside patio was a bit breezy and chilly. Nonetheless, highly recommend the Claim Jumper.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar and felt compelled to share my delightful experience. From the outset, I was made to feel welcome by the warm and friendly staff. I chose to dine at the bar, where the bartender showcased both, attentiveness and personable charm, making the overall experience even more memorable. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the Rib Eye steak, which arrived at the bar sizzling hot and oozing with flavor. It was cooked to perfection (medium rare), reinforcing the restaurant's reputation for their high-quality steaks. Prior to the main course, I had their house salad with blue cheese dressing, which was satisfactory. However, there is some room for improvement when it comes to the dressing. To accompany my dinner, I indulged in a well-selected glass of red wine, an experience which was further elevated by the delicate sips of Angel's Envy on the rocks for dessert. An unorthodox but highly enjoyable choice! In conclusion, my visit to Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The combination of exquisite food, warm ambiance, and attentive service left a lasting impression. I definitely plan on returning and would highly recommend this restaurant to those seeking a satisfying and comforting dining experience.

Sometimes you just need a good old fashion American cheeseburger. Well this is the place. I had the classic burger with bacon, cooked medium well it hit the spot. Claim Jumper is easy to find on North Harbour dr. in San Diego. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean and positioned at the Harbour, so lots to see. The price is reasonable considering how good the food is. I can recommend this place.

The food was outrageously expensive. It was slow out on the balcony on a nice 75-degree day, but everyone wanted to sit inside for some reason. This could explain the lack of service on the balcony. The food was good, and the top sirloin cooked perfectly at medium rare, the clam chowder was just ok.

So I really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service! Everything came quickly and the waitress was very pleasant. The food came in big portions to match the prices and it was delicious. I tried a few things around the table. Desert Carmel Butter Cake🤤, spinach dip with chips, 6 ct. large mozzarella sticks and the huge pot pie. We literally was able to split the food between four people. However, I rate the atmosphere as a 4 star (ONLY) because four of us sat at a table designed for four people but it was uncomfortable once food and drinks arrived the space became very small. The table is better placed for a party of 2-3 and three is pushing it in my honest opinion unless it's a small kid. Don't expect close parking as this restaurant is attracted to a hotel in down town San Diego. However, you may park at a fee across the street which wasn't a problem because after a large meal you can take a relaxing walk down the harbor which has beautiful views. If you decide to go after 8pm parking is free and it's less crowded making it easier to find parking.

Our waitress was very nice and working hard to take care of a lot of people. Our meals arrived fast and were delicious. We had meatloaf, tri-tip, chicken pot pie, soup, and salad. Everything was great. Two orders had a side of grilled veggies. I was able to try some, and they were fabulous. I could have made that an entree if there was enough!

First time at this restaurant and it is wonderful! The customer service is excellent. The food is delicious and the portions are big. Ordered the calamari, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and chocolate cake (not pictured). My husband ordered the chicken tenders, which were the size of two chicken breast fillets sliced in half. I highly recommend this location. Update - This is the best restaurant on the harbor! We came back to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and it was spectacular. This time we ordered the salmon. New picture and video attached. You must eat at this restaurant at this location.

An amazing customer service experience post our meal elevated this rating. Our server Mallory gave us excellent recommendations, is pleasant, and perfectly paced our meal and checking if we needed anything. The food temperature was perfect, the jumbalya over rice and chicken tenders tasted good, and the prices are fair. The disappointment was in waiting at the front to be seated. We waited patiently to get helped, and as seconds turned into minutes we thought at minimum we would be acknowledged. We later overheard an employee complain that a customer had a similar complaint. Also heard an employee conversation and profanity. Neither of us are offended by profanity, and there weren’t children in the restaurant. However, the conversation (we heard it) and the profanity could have been discrete. Lastly, the men’s restroom stall toilet had brown splashes on it. The urinal on the left had what looked like it might be oatmeal but I wasn’t trying to inspect closely.
