Studio Diner - San Diego - Photo album

This place is Great! The servers are Fun & Friendly. The atmosphere is movie themed based on the fact that it was built to feed the movie cast and crew that shot in the studio behind the diner. I had the Elvis Presley w/ Smuckers Breakfast Syrup, waffle fries w/ ketchup, Pepsi, & Chocolate Shake. My
I’ve always loved this place but now they’ve refurbished things and it’s that much brighter and more fun! Special shout out to Jay our fabulous waitress and awesome Luis, the manager!
We had the Monte Cristo sandwich, the BLT, and the fish and chips. All were good and generous portions. My son didn’t care for the beer batter on the fish but the fish was good. The staff was helpful and attentive. Overall a good lunch experience.
This is our favorite breakfast spot in San Diego. The food is always fresh! The kiddos enjoy the pancakes that look like movie reels and the scenery. My husband loves the bottomless mimosas and I'm there for that and everything in between. Definitely tasty! We will be back soon. :-)
I stumbled upon this gem while trying to find a parking spot. I knew I had to get in there. The place is just beautiful. I was so hoping the food would be as great. I ordered their Club sandwich, and that was going to be all I ordered. However, I noticed they had Chili. Damm, my obsession with Chili
We went to the Studio Diner, and I got the San Deagan, a Bacon Cheeseburger with Jack cheese, Avocado Red Onions, Lettuce and Tomato, with a side of Onion Rings, the Onion Rings came out fresh, so those were really hot when we got them and were VERY good, the burger was okay, though I feel like it c
The service was friendly and attentive. Food was really good. My husband loved the Monte Cristo!

Service was good. Seating and decor felt like old school diners you see in the movies, which I enjoyed. Steak was underdone and was sent back, then overdone! Overdone steak tasted fine though. Liked the bottomless coffee. Free parking.
Loved this place, everything but the Bloody Mary it was probably the worst one I have ever had.
The patio seating was fantastic. Food was delicious and our server took great care of us.
Good food, I actually felt like I was back in the NY at a old dinner , I choose the eggs over brisket, great breakfast place 👍🏽
Authentic diner dining. The menu is extensive, wonderful selection. I had the grilled haddock which was perfect. The seasonal vegetables were so good that I woukd have been happy with a plateful of those for dinner . The service was great and friendly.
Swanky Hollywood style diner but with that old school east coast feeling. Definitely a destination with great service and awesome food! The Grip burger probably got it's name because it was t h i c k. I barely fit it in my mouth for that first glorious bite. It was so good. Cooked to
Friendly staff, good food and huge portions. The club sandwich is massive and easily feeds two. I really enjoyed my Buffalo chicken salad. Not very busy late on a Saturday afternoon
We've been here a couple times. This place always delights. Jeff always ends up getting Monte Cristo 😆 no matter how long he looks at the menu. I ate the Patty Melt w/cheese &1000 island and asked for medium rare and fries as my side. The burger was perfectly cooked which I never actually had a cook
