The menu is fantastic!!! Hands down best breakfast, a must each time I’m in San Diego- mimosas are fabulous too!!
I went to brunch with my family. We had to wait an hour before we could be seated. I was grumpy and my daughter said i was hangry. The waitstaff was very good and the food was even better. I would say the best I've had in forever. Now I know why this place is so popular. Awesome food well worth the wait.
Long wait line, worth it.
The staff is excellent. Communicative and kind. We ordered the PH salad with shrimp, acai bowl, and the lamb burger. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and was really tasty. They actually got my order wrong with the beef burger, but they were quick to fix it and adding a veggie platter. Took 5 minutes to replace.
All the food was good and fresh, and the bathrooms were clean.
Worth the price and wait.
Visiting San Diego with friends and they brought me here. I had the Cowboy Benedict with roasted potatoes and a hazenlunt latte. Delicious! Plus it's a very cute place. Looking forward to coming back!
Brunch was fantastic at Parkhouse Eatery! We sat outside on the dog friendly patio and ordered the Crab cake Benedict and the special of the day lobster hash. Everything tasted delicious, and really nice portion sizes as well. Very friendly and quick service. Went on a Saturday morning so we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but is a great area to walk around. Highly recommend!
Delightful experience. I was visiting from out of town with local family and felt right at home here. The food and service were wonderful.
Okay, this place was recommended for Sunday brunch and breakfast. Went for dinner service es awesome. Food is prepared with fresh ingredients, and their sauces are outrageous. The server was able to bring a drink after asking a couple of drinks. Ribs were tasty, and the mashed potatoes were flavorful. The pork belly and brussel sprouts were fire! The sweet and spicy wings are a hit. Go with friends, share the menu, and enjoy yourselves.
Met with friends for breakfast here, it was a mild day so we sat outside to enjoy our meals. We went around 9am on a Sunday morning and there was luckily no wait, although I would say finding parking took a little bit of time. The menu has some classics with a twists and some total different takes in breakfast which was great! I had the pork belly Benedict and it was truly delicious!! Had not had something like that for breakfast, I surely recommend to stop here if you can!
Found this gem searching for a new brunch location to enjoy with my wife. The service was amazing from the minute we walked in. The food is spectacular and did no disappoint. You pay for what you get here. The portions and quality of food match the pricing in my opinion.

Oh look, it’s me giving parkhouse another well earned 5 stars again 😂 this place has been my go to in the normal heights area since 2013! Yes, I’ve been coming here for a decade and won’t stop! I’ve tried over half the menu at this point and this is my go to spot to bring friends and family (including picky eaters) because there’s something for everyone.
The care that goes into the food, the quality ingredients, fresh made sauces batters etc and all the specials sourcing what’s available. I love it all! The staff are also a highlight along with the menu. They’re so friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, accommodating, and take pride in their work.
Although it is on the smaller side (be prepared to wait if you show up late to brunch) they have outdoor and indoor seating. Back to the food. My absolute favorites for brunch is the steak & eggs, carnitas stuffed polenta cake, and the blue cornmeal pancakes (my friends absolutely love their Benedict’s). My favorites for dinner is always the iceberg salad, Mac n cheese, carnitas pizza, and their pasta specials.

The best place we've been to so far!! The food was amazing and the service was great!! I got the PH Benedict with smoked salmon it was delicious! My husband got the French toast combo with Portuguese sausage and it was gone!!
Always great food, great service, and great environment! The fried rice bowl is delicious - the cinnamon pancakes (or any!) are fluffy and crunchy at the same time - best of both worlds :-)
