You cannot go wrong at this restaurant. Friendly service and exceptional food. The home made bread and pasta were phenomenal.
The menu is very comprehensive and features the very best in Italian cuisine. I had the seafood pasta and it was the best I have ever had.
When in San Diego you should check Minno’s.

Definitely a compliment to the establishment for its wonderful staff and atmosphere. Their friendly manner definitely radiates positivity! I ordered the Flatbread, and while it wasn't bad, it tasted like a regular dish that you could have elsewhere for less money, so I didn't think it was worth the price. At the end, it seemed to me that you were paying for the vibe... 🤷🏻♂️
Overall it wasn't a bad experience, it just wasn't worth the price of admission.
Will I return? Maybe... As there are a lot of Italian restaurants close by, I wouldn't go again until trying the other places.
We absolutely loved the food & the ambience here! Our server was friendly & attentive and all our orders (party of 6) were correct. We went on a Saturday night & the area (Little Italy) was packed with people, & almost all restaurants had a long waiting list. We made reservations (thanks to an IG friend from SD for the tip) and that made our night go smoothly.
Beautiful little restaurant right in the middle of the action of Little Italy! I ordered food to go. The phone service was kind and helpful. When I arrived I was greeted kindly. My food was ready as promised. It was great to see the Cesar salad was packed separately from the hot seafood linguini. All of the necessary extras- To-go utensils, napkin, lemon wedges, Parmesan, dressing, etc. all the details were accounted for. The food was out of this world! FRESH seafood cooked perfect! Muscles and clams were fantastic! What an amazing meal! I could tell the atmosphere was nice inside the restaurant but dined at my vacation rental.
The wine selection! The handsome servers! The outdoor seating! The best linguine of my life! I will be dreaming about this meal for months. Utter perfection. I have no other words, it was so perfect t it was a blur. I loved everything and I want to come back to San Diego just for the fresh focaccia.
This place was really good. We stopped in for lunch a bit after 1 on a Saturday, and there was plenty of very shaded patio seating. We were happy with the food and drinks we got, and the service was excellent. Since we had our dogs with us, I really appreciated how much patio seating they had, and the fact that a ton of it was in the shade was great, since Little Italy can be really sunny during lunch.
The most amazing restaurant in all of Little Italy in San Diego. Owner is super sweet, its also a family owned business. Everything was exceptional. I highly recommend you check them out if you’re in San Diego.
We came back one more time on a Saturday this time, we ended up sitting inside which was beautiful, reminds me of italy. The owner was super nice once again, 52 years in the business. Exceptional food once again. The pizza was amazing, greek salad dressing is the best I’ve ever had. Campanelle Sausage pasta is amazing I had it both times, we also got an Alfredo pasta with chicken and shrimp both was amazing.
The outdoor dining was perfect on a sunny San Diego al fresco weather. One of the best Italian pasta I had. Staff are really friendly and the grated cheese was nice touch for our food. The interior decor brings back memories of our Italian vacation. We'll definitely come back soon.
5 stars is really tough to give but this place was really close. We were in town for Comic Con and kinda picked this place blindly. I’m glad we did. Portions were generous without being “too much” we ordered the Linguini Clams, Chicken Parmigiana and Mac & Cheese. All of them were great. Calamari Fritti for the app was also great. Tender and not chewy! Highly recommended.
Our server was Ignacio and he did a amazing job with his recommendations for wine pairing with each of our dishes. We had Shrimp/Crab Rav and Lasagna Meat and paired with Montepulciano GLS and Blend Polvaro GLS. The overall experience was amazing, this was probably the best Italian food I have had ever.
