This place has got to be hands-down, best breakfast in San Diego. The portions are gigantic. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is fun and the taste is absolutely delicious. You will not be disappointed.!!!!!!! I had the famous fried chicken sandwich and my husband had the corned beef hash ! Neither one of us could finish our plates and we still tried to keep eating because it was sooo good! Service was great just a delicious breakfast day after Christmas 2023 🥰🎄🫶

Tried a couple of dishes. Did not care for the Eggs Benedict but I enjoy the more traditional dish. The rib hash was good. Biscuits are big but not like what I like in the south. Meatloaf was good also. For a Samoan the portions were appropriate. You appetite will be satisfied with one dish. Overall I enjoyed my experience here.

It was good only wish my waffles were more light and crispy they were a bit pancaky to me. The place is cozy but a little too close table to table . I loved the crispy sage chicken breast though . Portions are huge so make sure you take that into consideration when ordering. Would definitely go back to try out other dishes

I came here about 20 years ago. What I remember is that the pancake that I ordered was bigger than the plate! I am happy to inform that it hasn’t changed. My husband and I shared the Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles. So so SO GOOD! We couldn’t finish the waffles. We had to wait for about an hour and 10 minutes. It was a Padres game day, a Sunday and peak brunch time. We just went for a walk because we know it was going to be very worth it! Staff was very nice. We ordered a few special drinks from the labor day weekend menu. Worth every penny.

If you haven't one to Hash House A Go Go, you're doing yourself a disservice. Portions are really for 2, unless you HUNGRY. Haven't had 1 dish there that I didn't love. The food there is phenomenal. The drinks are made very well made. Service is top-notch. The servers are really nice and have great recommendations. Place is a little small but, really it's more like cozy. If there is a wait, wait, there will be a wait. There are benches with umbrellas outside. So it's cool. It's really good eatery. Can't wait to go back.

Wow!!!!! Ulisses was our waiter and he seemed so happy to be helping us! We started with the Bloody Mary flight but were unanimous that the regular one was our favorite. Our table ordered the chicken Benedict and it was ENORMOUS! They loved all the flavors and the more bites they took, the more different foods they discovered. The creamy sauce was delicious too! The stuffed bacon waffles and sage chicken was incredibly good and also HUGE! Portions are definitely sharing size unless you’ve not eaten for a week! Everyone working there seemed a happy to be there and friendly. What a cool experience! We will be telling others about this place, and wish there was one in our hometown!

When you find a place with over 4k 5 star reviews, you've got to try it. We did, and it was absolutely worth it. The wild boar chilaquiles were our favorite pick this time, but the bread pudding was delicious as well. The master Mary (bloody Mary with a skewer of tenderloin) was a nice start to the meal, and the flight was a nice taste of their other flavors. Portions are large so come hungry!

Pretty cool breakfast/lunch place. Cool history about the owner and the flavors he brought with him from the mid-West really hit different. Astonishing portion size for entrees - can definitely be shared by 2 people. Had the best servers. Super sweet and helpful and made the experience even better. There's a bar and outside patio. Had the chicken and waffles, chicken benedict, polenta fries, banana french toast, and the smores drink. All of it was very tasty. I enjoyed the sage fried chicken and waffles the best. The waffles had bacon inside them. The smores mocha was delicious - super sweet though and had a ton of marshmallow fluff on top. Hubby enjoyed his benedict. Polenta fries came with house made pesto which I enjoyed as well. Looking forward to coming back with others to try the rest of the offerings. There's metered street parking in front of the restaurant.

Wow!!!! “A good wow” from beginning to end ! Upon arrival my partner and I were greeted and welcomed. The service was top tier and let me tell you about the food. Both of the hashes ordered were cooked to perfection, “hats off to the chef” we were completely satisfied! Attached were the items we ordered and for any tourist looking to spend money on quality dining, “THIS IS WHERE ITS AT”! Service did a great job and I hope is always being appreciated. I will definitely be coming here over and over again!
