I got a carnitas burrito. Paid the $3 to make it a wet burrito. It was a really good burrito! Lots of meat. Great flavor! Although the wet sauce was nice, I'm not sure it was $3 nice. I don't regret it though. Their hot salsa and mild salsa are really good. I would definitely come back.

This is my go to neighborhood quick Mexican drive thru or to go place. They have been around since I can remember, maybe 1990s? This current location is the second (or third?) location change on the same block. I go here for rolled tacos and California burritos and I'm not disappointed with my usual go tos. I've tried other items on the menu like the tortas. I noticed they have birria tacos now and will need to try that next.

They made the food quick, but the portion was a little on the smaller side. Wish they would have a variety of salsas

Don't get me wrong, the food was decent. Customer service was bad. I had to wait for the cashier to finish her conversation with another person, which apparently was her friend. And some other details but the food was ready within 5 minutes.

Had the beer battered fish burrito with a side of chips and salsa. The salsa bar was good, but the salsa that came with the chips was much better (more flavorful). The burrito was great!

The Best in Mira Mesa! Rolled Tacos with orange sauce! 😋 Horchata is way too sweet, but other than that, everything is good! Large servings, a lot of tortillas!

First time I ate here was last week when I took a friend there. She strongly recommended it & she was so right. The food was hot, spicy, large portions & very tasty. I had 2 potato tacos, rice & beans with some fresh warm chips. They have 3 types of freshly made salsas & I enjoyed all 3. Friendly service & fair prices. You can eat inside/outside but we took ours & went home. We'll definitely be back next month & try some more of their vegetarian dishes.

The newer Cotixan place has a great Mexican vibe. Two things I particularly loved during my meal were: (1) Burrito was filled just the right amount - and did not tear apart. (2) Service was quick, they immediately switched to 2 customers being served at once when the queue started lengthening. I would recommend this place for a quick meal if you're anywhere nearby. One thing for which I cut 1 star is- I couldn't find a good table to sit and have my meal. Every table had either water spilt over or some meal remnants not cleared. I think that maybe a feedback for Cotixan guys. Overall your belly is gonna say an immediate Gracia when you take the first bite of your meal! :)

I just had my first meal from Cotixan. Wow. I am absolutely in love with it! Thank goodness I live nearby because I am definitely going to be craving this place quite often ;) The burritos are huge (way, way bigger than Chipotle’s even) and filled to the brim with delicious chunks of meat. They’re super filling and really amazing portions for that price! We tried the Carnitas and the Carne Asada Burritos and both were so good! The meat was tender, crispy, juicy, and so flavorful. Even the tortilla was exceptionally delicious. The burritos come with pico and guacamole too for no extra charge. We also tried the Battered Fish Taco and the one bite my mom let me have before she stole the rest was unbelievably delicious :) I switched the tortilla to a flour tortilla, so I can’t comment on how the corn tortilla tastes. The workers were great too which always is nice to find because it makes the whole experience more enjoyable. The new drive through also has a great set up: two lines with a giant menu beforehand so you can figure out what you want. I’m so glad I tried this place and I can’t wait to go back for more delicious food!
