Brussels Bistro

This is a wonderful Belgium themed restaurant I got escargot which I have never seen on a menu it was prepared beautifully one of the shells had no meat in it and I brought it to the servers attention they promptly brought me a new one with a huge snail in it! They also sing happy birthday with a desert they have a funny Belgian birthday song that plays plus they take a Polaroid and give it to you for a momento

During our visit on the 4th of July 2023 to Dana Point in California, we found a restaurant/bar conveniently located in the center of the old downtown that was awesome. We clocked in at 8 pm and checked out the menu, the ambiance, and the customer service. My wife ate a flavorful and healthy beet salad. While enjoying the salad, we noticed a great atmosphere was filling the place, regardless of whether the guests were sitting at tables or spending time at the bar. The customer service was excellent as the waitress carefully listened to our needs as we have some food allergies. As we were starving the next day, we returned to the Brussels Bistro restaurant to enjoy the atmosphere and take pictures from the Belgian Manneke Pis statute (which looks similar to the original and famous one in Brussels.) This time, we ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon meal. It was out of this world. We had never experienced a dish cooked to perfection. Not even in Brussels. We noted the servers' friendliness, including the manager Adele. We talked about Belgium and some restaurant-related topics. We highly recommend everyone visiting Dana Point or living in the area to visit Brussels Bistro, if only for the vast selection of Belgium beers. Bring a designated driver and enjoy it!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in South OC. Amazing food, great drinks, good service (young food runners could use more training and some social skills), overall this place is a great place for date night or a night out with friends. I celebrated my birthday there tonight. We had the filet mignon, with a salad, boeuf bourgouignon with mashed potatoes, their delicious bread and butter, and the brussel sprouts appetizer. Everything is exquisitely seasoned, fresh and just amazing.

Friends from San Clemente took us to Brussels Bistro, one of their favorite restaurants in town. We shared the garlic shrimp and Brussels sprouts appetizers, both delicious! All four of our entrees were equally excellent: flank steak, salmon, mussels, and trout almondine. We were seated in a corner table against the booth wall, and could easily converse. The service was quite good, and we never felt rushed.

loved it. there is still some improvements needed, but overall all great. nothingly major to change. the direction4is great, perfect bread, good escargot great as t much sc clrs (add more white wine in the last broil), that were our favorites incl. the beet salad. Update: atmosphere and beer great, mussels fine, little to soft and mushy, but that came maybe from the milky spicy tomato based sauce.
