Chipotle Mexican Grill

I love going to chipotle and have visited a lot of franchises in Texas. I also worked for Chipotle for 2 years so I understand how difficult the job truly is. However, this location has been the worst ever. Firstly, when we arrived we saw how dirty the line was. You could tell that it had not been cleaned for at least a couple hours. Also, they had an employee who was obviously training BY HIMSELF with a line of 6 costumers. The cashier came to reprimand him in front of us about a previous costumer who received a small scoop of chicken. This was extremely unprofessional by her to do in front of costumers and he looked really overwhelmed and I could tell he was uncomfortable with the situation. Even though he was going a tad slow he was truly doing his best and I appreciated that he took his time to make the bowl I wanted. On the other hand, the cashier with brown hair and glasses just kept being rude the whole time. When I was going to pay, I remember that I had a coupon and I told her this and she immediately responded with an attitude “for what?” And then she got the manager so she could override the coupon. I didn’t appreciate her attitude or how she talked to the employee in training. She also could’ve helped him and didn’t. This location needs to do a better job at supporting their employees, improving their costumer service and cleanliness.

Obviously training an employee, which I am understanding of. The trainee barely put any rice, beans, or carnitas in the bowl I ordered. The employee training him went back through the line to help the trainee with the bowl, which I appreciated. But then the burrito had the same issue with barely any carnitas, rice, or beans. When I asked the lady if they normally are that small, she responded “that’s how big they’re supposed to be.” But she made the burrito for the customer before me and it was 2-3x times as big. For $18.94, I’d expect better. I’d avoid this location during Saturday early afternoons until there is a better training system implemented. Not the trainee’s fault at all. He needs guidance.

I ordered from ubereats and they missed a whole beverage, I ordered a lemonade and they just disregarded it. The bowl was also like not full at all, it was halfway filled. I’m usually not able to eat a whole bowl this time I could eat the whole bowl and I’m still hungry. Horrible quality. They also didn’t bother to give me any utensils, guess I’ll eat with my hands. So, I’m thirsty… still hungry… and had no fork. Lol

Music was ridiculously loud, the person I was on the phone with could hear how loud it was. Everyone was shouting their order. Instead of lowering the music, the employee thought it was better to yell at me to speak up. I could see why nobody chose to sit in the seating area. I don’t see myself wanting to come back to experience this service. Lettuce did not look fresh.
