First off for $14 the fish was cold, containers of tarter sauce were only half filled if that. No drive thru box was still after years not working (had to drive up to the window) for them to take my order.

Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance of this place. Tender morsels of the sea await! This is mainly due to the staff- who are amazing! I've been to the most extravagant seafood restaurants in our fair city and haven't received the service or attention to detail on display here. Other more luxurious restaurants would be lucky to have this staff. The food was fresh and prepared just to my persnickety instructions. In the time of Covid, I am grateful for these essential workers who prepared my food promptly and to a delicious specification!

People seem to be off fried foods these days but I've always liked LJS's chicken strips, fries, hush-puppies and coleslaw. This visit did not disappoint. Everything was hot and tasty. Unfortunately the coleslaw was dry... no sauce at all... just chopped cabbage! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Obviously there was not a lot of extra cash in this business as the building was in desperate need of repair.

No speaker at drive through, no way out of the line if you don't want to wait 30 min for fast food. This is ridiculous. If you can't afford to fix your speaker you shouldn't be in business or own a franchise. That's insane. Taking orders at the window understaffed never coming here again calling corporate to complain.

Ok, Loved the Fish, the ongoing issue , twice we been there and it takes one hour to get our meal, one hour. But hey, the two persons working there, they are awesome. I really admire them for trying and making sure that those of us that wait get a smile at the end of our 1 hour wait. LJS corporate please fix this issue of having to wait 1 hour. Two more lent weekends left. We will try again if it's an hour wait, so be it. We really like your fish. Thank you

The staff that served us tonight was so fantastic, sweet, personable, and engaging. The fish sure got thin from last time I remember eating at a LJS but the employees that were here tonight that served us made our night so wonderful. Customer service is everything, and this location has it. Thank you!

As I approached order counter Lorretta in a mostly bothered voice advised me someone would be with me as soon as possible. Gruff and grouchy for sure. Finally, before I ordered I wanted to relate my last visit about 5 months ago with a question about freshness of shortening. Last time got home and was very disappointed. Again very rude was told she didn't give it to me and all the food is fresh. Food was ready in a proper time. Was told I can check it. Then as I did was told again food is fresh. Whatever happened to friendly customer service? Apparently the standard to be management is low. I recommend some customer service training for Lorretta. Fast , fresh and friendly still applies in building business. As I prepared to depart I asked for her title. General Manager! Really? I told her she sets a poor example for her employees. She thanked me. Finally, fish and shrimp was good. Thank you. Sorry to have bothered your GM. NOT REALLY!!!!
