We waited for too much time to get a small portion of low quality food. There is nothing good to say about this place and I don't think that anyone cares, because tourists will continue to come and eat here regardless to the negative critics.

Went here last night for a bite while on the Riverwalk. We sat at the bar and ordered the fajitas for two, which was delicious and a real bargain as it was very generous portions. Our bartender Jasmine gave us great service and delicious drinks and the staff that spoke with us were all friendly and professional. Although we had planned to make a few stops on the walk that night, our experience was so great we ended up just staying there until closing! Good food, good service, good prices! What more can you ask for?!?

Went in on a Wednesday at about 4pm. Only two other people in the place so we basically had it all to ourselves. Our waiter was free to help us every second and he did a fantastic job. There were 9 of us and he checked in on us often. The margarita pitcher we got was great. Got chips and salsa while we waited. We were starving so we devoured it. He noticed we were starving so he brought us some caso on the house. Tortilla soups had a ton of shredded chicken in it and was great. Enchiladas were great and authentic, Overall a very nice time and great people. Price was not too bad either my bill was only $180 and that's not bad for the river walk. Check it out and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I'll admit I was more than worried reading the reviews after my son told me they had contracted to hold their wedding reception at La Paloma. We could not possibly have been more pleased. To a guest, everyone was complimentary of the food. The bride and groom had ordered a fajita bar and it was all delicious. The service was over the top fabulous. They were attentive to every detail - kept our glasses filled the entire evening. At the appropriate time they brought the wedding cake to the front and center & provided champagne flutes for the couple. I don't know what others expect of a restaurant but the stories told in other reviews do not reflect our experience in ANY way. We would most certainly go there again and our hats are off to the wait staff. Wonderful evening in every way.

Very bad experience. Restaurant was dirty. Food and trash on the floor. Waiters bussing the table -threw the dishes into a bussing pan, all within 2 ft of the tables til it was so full that whatever they tossed in it sometimes fell to the floor shattering. The ketchup bottle was filthy with dried and wet ketchup covering the cap and running down the side of the bottle. We had to ask for water, silverware and the salads were served without dressing which never arrived even after asking. The strip steak was super thin and would be considered a skirt steak but was being sold and served as a strip. Ordered medium rare all steaks were medium to well done. When I complained the manager blamed the waitress and when offering an adjustment , the 18% gratuity that was automatically figured into the bill- was the amount the manager wanted to adjust The waitress got mad and walked out. They were rude and I would never suggest this restaurant. i brought my staff to dinner 14 of us and it was the worst meal and service for $400.00.

Wish I had read these reviews before adding my own bad experience. Had dinner here with friends (we are all servers on the river walk) and were given the wrong menus.....but we didn't know. So we ordered and everything was fine. The bartender was amazing. Our server, Tono, only came back to the table 2 times. Once to take our order and once to drop off food. The new busser was 100x more helpful. Food wasn't even worth what we almost spent. Apparently we were given lunch menus and the price of food is 1/2 price which is why we ordered what we did. (There was no indication of any price drops and I did not see the menu say anything about lunch). We get our tickets and 3 carne asada plates, 2 margaritas, and 2 shots cost the table 140$ total. I understand it's the river walk but not even the way better, upscale dining areas have prices that stupid for dinner. It takes Tono another 30 minutes to get the prices adjusted after he insists 2 times that we had the right menus. We asked for a manager but one never came. They were busy with a non-existent party upstairs. (The restroom I used was upstairs and there was no party.) It was a waste of time and we still tipped him at least 15% of the adjusted bill. I hope this is a warning and lesson to anyone who reads this. Edit*** they took it upon themselves to add 10% gratuity without letting us know so we ended up tipping 25% (a 3 person table with a bill that should have been less than 90$). This place is a joke

They must be reading their reviews. There was a focused effort to make sure our food came out fast, the tables were clean, and the chips were fresh and crispy. We got nachos and fajitas. Both were good. We just wish our waitress wasn't MIA most of the meal.

Went there about 12:30pm on a Sunday and we were the only people there (2 top), which was nice. It was a rainy day but still a lot of people out on the Riverwalk. For being the only table, service was fair. All waitstaff seemed friendly. My problem was the price v. the quality. Food was just okay - My husband refused to eat the beans & he eats everything! We got tableside guacamole for $10.95 and ONLY ONE avacado was used! My husband let me have it all, since it was barely enough for me. We still left a 20% tip but we will not be returning or suggesting the restaurant to anyone.
