I love love love Sparky’s Pub and the rest of gay strip in San Antonio. Great bartenders (especially, Rolando), and the drinks are strong and affordable. SA is a late night crowd. So, if you are there during the week for work or something, don’t expect it to be busy until late.
Also, be sure to checkout the King of the Grill food truck right outside. It is open weekends and some weeknights. It’s great!

Adding the cash bar was the best thing to happen on the strip. No longer have to wait to get a beer or a mixed drink. Short lines and great drinks without the wait. 5 stars!
