Jim's Restaurant

It was my first trip to a Jim’s Restaurant. Overall, they had a friendly staff, and the food was good. I went there yesterday (10/20/2023). My server “Jenn”, served 100% kindness, attentive, and portrayed a respectable manner. The toilets weren’t so clean though, and displayed a mildew ring around it. The base of the restaurant was clean. I will be going back to this restaurant another day. Also, they offer a (55+) menu for seniors. Thank you Jenn for a fantastic & stellar customer service.

This is an older restaurant but very clean. There were four of us and everything we had was excellent. This is a locals restaurant. Very laid back and pleasant. ANDREA is a light in the world. We came in feeling we had known her our whole lives. She makes you feel LOVED. Give it a try they don't disappoint.

I have gone twice for the fried chicken meal and the appetiser basket ( I can never resist fried mushrooms). Their salted biscuits are my highlight and the main reason why I would keep going. The service is good too. I would recommend getting the fried chicken rather than the steak when ordering the fried chicken meal ( you would think that based on the name the steak means a fillet chicken, but it was actually ground beef that was battered and fried which was not my cup of tea, so make sure you order the chicken if you do mot want to have the meat)

Always friendly service. It was very cold in the restaurant while we first arrived, but the waitress was a nice enough to adjust the temperature of the air conditioning. make it comfortable for us. I had the liver and onions, which I what usually get. It tasted fine, but made me horribly sick within an hour of eating it. I remained sick for the rest of the day and evening yesterday. Feeling much better today. I did notice that the onions weren't grilled all the way thru, I'm thinking that this was the possible culprit that made me ill. Hoping that this was an isolated incident, and based on my past experiences, I would still return to this Jims for a meal.
