Absolutely hands down best barbacoa I have found in SA. This is a family business and they are awesome. They take such pride in the service, food and cleanliness. Barbacoa melts in your mouth. Will be going back soon!

There's nothing better on a Sunday morming than stopping to get some barbacoa.
Rios is great because you can either go inside and grab your food or go through the drive-thru.
We chose the drive-thru and although the line was about 10 cars deep, the line moved quickly.
The ordering process is very easy and the combos are great for feeding a few people.
My only complaint is the lack of coffee/proper containers for coffee to go.
The barbacoa is so good and it's seasoned perfectly. Also, unlike other places the barbacoa is not too fatty.
Their tortillas and hot sauce pair perfectly with the meat.
Tamales have good flavor, but are a little light on the meat.

The barbacoa is so good and the prices are decent for the specials. The salsa verde is spicy and so good. I think the tamales could use more meat, but other than that, it's a must try!

The best barbacoa in san antonio. And when I go in, I feel like they know me and they're so friendly. It's a pleasure to go get my breakfast on the weekend.

Service was amazing, they were all kind. I got the specialty 1 and they offered to heat up our tortillas. They were very welcoming and fast. Definitely gonna start getting my barbacoa from there.

I like this place! Barbacoa doesn't have all that grease to weigh in on the scale like all the other places! Staffed with friendly family staff. They also had free donuts and coffee the Sunday I went!

As part of my #ShareMyExperience journey, today I made a stop at Rios Barbacoa, and I must comment on a few things.
1. Hospitality ✅ The staff team were very professional, clear and concise in communicating their menu option.
2. Quality ✅ their barbacoa tasted so nice and had less oil compared to quite some places I’ve had the same.
Overall, I will recommend this place if you’re looking to have a taste of something nice.

Tried out the Barbacoa & Big Red for our Sunday Breakfast! It was great, drained the fat of course yet it was very meaty delicious! Service was fast, friendly and attentive. Would definitely go to this location again!
