The best Argentinian/Uruguayan restaurant I've been to. The prices might be a little above average, but let me tell you the reason. They import all the ingredients to make the food as authentic as you'll find in the US. I'm from Paraguay, have visited both Argentina and Uruguay and the milanesas are the real deal. We also had empanadas and they were exactly like the ones in south America. You can also enjoy typical desserts and pastries. We were just visiting San Antonio and ate so much just because it was so authentic and unique! Definitely recommend it and will visit next time we're in SAT.

For everyone looking for a good or bad review. Am going to leave the most honest review I have ever given to a restaurant. I been to hundreds of Latin restaurants around the world. La Milanesa Gave me what other’s haven’t. Extremely clean place to eat for the money, food is the hands down Best of the best awards worthy. The food is out the park home run, Even the Atmosphere inside was amazing. I also noticed that they make many things by hand and I appreciate that and may be the secret to their amazingness. I recommend this place to everyone. La mejor comida en Texas, si estás buscando sabor argentino, chileno y comida hispana. No busques mas, el monto de comida que te dan por el precio es INCREÍBLE.

My lucky day, it turns out they have a Buffay here on Fridays! Just take a look at the pictures I’ll leave a review on the taste afterwards. OMG The flavor is phenomenal, I can’t get enough of this stuff. Make arrangements for your next visit on Fridays to be at Laemmle Nessa, all you can eat buffet.

The food at The Milanesa Restaurant & Grill is absolutely delicious!!! Every time I go, the service is exceptional and the desserts are always perfectly prepared and ready to be enjoyed! Apart from the owners being very professional and having a keen attention to detail, the restaurant is always open to be enjoyed by all. Their milanesas, Lomito sandwiches, parrilladas, pastas, and empanadas are incredible! I highly recommend The Milanesa to everyone!

Update: Returned on Sunday, Jan. 10. Their service was equally excellent as the previous day. Upon the server's recommendation, I ordered the ribeye and a couple of different empanadas. The empanadas were awesome, meaty, chunky, and cooked very well. The ribeye was very tasty, juicy, and cooked the way I asked ("walk it by the grill" red). The taste of the meat was the highlight of the dinner and I strongly recommend it. These folks import their meat from South America. It's good. A glass of red wine made a great complement for the steak. For dessert I had the panqueques con dulce de helado (two crepes filled with dulce de leche, topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and a strawberry garnish). It was also good and a great ending to a great meal. Ate there today, Sat., Jan 9th, around 3pm. The place was clean, orderly, with some background music. I didn't have to wait for a table, they have plenty of seating even with COVID-19 spacing. My server was Miriam, a sweet Argentinian lady who was very attentive. With Miriam's recommendation, I ordered an empanada and it was a good call. It was thick, meaty, and delicious. The meat is not ground beef but steak chopped/minced by hand and a bit chunkier than ground beef, giving the empanada a good meaty bite. A great start. I then ordered the grilled mollejas with chimichurri sauce. Mollejas are not for everyone but I had steak last night and wanted something different (their steaks are imported from Argentina and I'll be going back tomorrow to try one). For sides, I went with rice and a nice potato salad with vegetables and sauce. Both were great. The complementary bread went great with the chimichurri sauce. They also offer a complementary glass of their house wine so I went with their Blackberry Merlot, which I thought was great, light and fruity, more like a wine cooler, perfect for lunch. They offer other options of wines and they provide recommendations for pairing wines for each dish. Overall, this place is great. I strongly recommend it. The service was outstanding and the food was great. Miriam and the owners were great and they made my visit a learning experience of Argentinian traditions, cuisine, and wine pairings. Service: outstanding. Miriam was very attentive and was always around. Food quality: very good. Tasty, warm, and delicious. (will update with steak information tomorrow) Price: very reasonable. The amount of mollejas was big and very filling. For $16 not expensive at all. I left full. Photos of menu are attached for prices as of this writing. Speed: very fast to table and food arrived quick. No waiting around for either. Atmosphere: relaxed, not loud, with background music. Tablecloths, metal silverware, good steak knives, not very fancy but definitely good for a date, couple or family meals, etc. Will definitely return and will recommend to others looking for non-Mexican Latin-American options in San Antonio.

This place is absolutely spectacular!!! You have to come here. Authentic flavorful Argentine fare. Mate, empanadas, milanesa, asado, morcilla, flan, chori pan, chimichurri, that have it all!!! Everything is rich in flavor, hot and cooked to order. La Milanesa is the authentic Argentine restaurant that San Antonio needed and they are the gold standard in this city. If you are from Argentina then you will live this place. If you have ever wanted to try Argentine food this is the place of your dreams. Highly highly recommend!!! Can't wait to come back!

I got the Sandwich option. They do have a plate option, which I probably should have gotten instead because it’s a lot of bread, unless you like to feel really stuffed. It is good though! Definitely one of the best sandwiches I have tasted. It’s called Churrasco Al Pan
