Randomly stopped at this Mexican restaurant, we found it cute, homey and cozy. It was clean, busy but with plenty of seating.
Food was good & the waitresses were polite and quick to take the order and serve.
A trio of young kids were allowed to come in a play a few songs for donations, I thought it was very nice of the establishment to allow them for that short time to play.
Comfort. Best way to describe the food and atmosphere here. It's something you can't fake. Delicious food, warm tortillas and good salsa. You'll enjoy it.
*Highly recommend the al pastor. Very well seasoned. Haven't tried the carnitas yet. Great charro beans and rice too.
For an early Father's Day I picked Taqueria De Chapala Jalisco where we were quickly seated and soon had our food. The staff here is very professional and friendly, the atmosphere is incredible, and the food is true home style tasting.
I really, really enjoyed the food here. The fajita was seasoned and cooked well without having an overpowering marinade nor was it drenched in grease. The tortillas are large and tasty. Everything has a very good flavor and the al pastor has a good marinade. The atmosphere is very festive and appears clean. It's crowded, but service was attentive.

Well this is the 3rd time we go back in 2 months, to have a delicious dinner at: Taqueria Lago de Chapala Jalisco, located at: 12048 O' Connor Rd, and everything was real fresh and this became the # 1 of my favorites Mexican restaurants.
Oh my god ❗ the food portions they serve you are huge, if you ask for a: Taco al Pastor, the taco won't close because the amount of meat it comes with, anything you ask, like The Tortilla Soup, the small is good enough if you are thinking to get another plate, like me, today I ordered for the small Tortilla Soup, also ordered Tostadas (3) de Pollo, barely was able to finished them.
I was asking for help to the kindly waitresses Luz & Yolis just in case I will not able to finish everything.
And of course without mention this place is always super clean and have reasonable prices.
These guys have replaced all the benches, chairs & tables they look gorgeous, they built master pieces, for real.
And let me tell you, I recommend this Mexican restaurant, widely, pretty sure you will come back again, so I will give my ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ well deserved gold stars to you my friends, keep all the same magic flavors on your tasty food❗
I LOVE the Nachos Chips are Perfect thin but sturdy CRISPY , cheese is good quality beans and Fajita super TASTY and delicious!!!!! Everything I have tried is Very Good! And supper Affordable! Great for family dinners.
2022.10.09 Food was great.. Fajitas Flameados...Enchiladas con guisada...Salsa Verde, Guisada with cheese taco. All great....our server Carlos was amazing... 2023.06.10 Second time. Had the puffy Taco plate with picadillo carne guisada with cheddar cheese 🔥, Beef fajita quesadilla 🔥, rice and beans were delicious. Server Pancho was excellent. Complimentary chips came with salsa and queso 🔥 the red salsa is the hot one (my preference). My wife had the Mexican plate with cheese enchiladas in a crispy taco with picadillo. I'm not sure if she liked it when I turned around the plate was empty. JK. 🔥 The place is decorated really nicely all the booths have unique murals painted on them, they look really cool. The menus also have pictures which is really nice 👍Drive thru coming soon.
The food was so good. I had the parrillada combo plate and Mama had the fajita taco salad. The charro beans were delicious with chunks of pork rine and the salsa for the tostadas was just perfect! The tortillas were fresh, which is what I love. The place was a bit crowded, but the service was good. We went at rush hour on a Saturday. The prices for the meals were reasonable.
