Family owned and run restaurant with full menu for breakfast and lunch. All meals authentic and absolutely delicious! This place is what Mexican food was all about before the chic-y menus a La California and Austin “Mexican” food came to town!

Awesome place! A bit tucked away, but that makes it even better. Great food, very attentive staff, clean and friendly atmosphere. Love coming here for breakfast. The chilaquiles are so good! And very tasty home made tortillas. The best!

We were visiting from Houston for 4th of July weekend and we wanted a good hearty Mexican restaurant. This place was near where our Airbnb was located and it seemed like a small cozy place. To our surprise this place turned out so delicious!! Every was authentic Mexican breakfast. You can tell it’s a family owned place where everyone that is family works there. Although there was a sign saying they were short staffed and be patient, we had no trouble with service with our party of 6. Everyone was nice and courteous and again, the food was the best. I also love the Anime drawn outside the building. We will definitely be back here for breakfast when we come back to San Antonio. Also the food prices are just right!
