People always say it’s expensive and taco cabana is cheaper. Well, yea, taco cabana IS cheaper. You can also eat a TC taco in two bites! Palenque might be a bit more coin, but it taste waaaay better and the portions are bigger. BTW- good filled breakfast tacos Mon-Fri 10 for $8.00! Can’t beat that! Btw- those complaining about the small bowls for chips- get a plate from the order ready bar. They are bigger and serve your salsas on the paper bowls intended for chips. Not rocket science y’all. #LuvinTacoP
Loved it! I ordered a burito and it had everything in it, I was surprised how much food was in the tortilla. We ordered chips and queso to compare and Taco Palenque chips and queso is 100 times better, you could tell it was fresh.
This location is very friendly and fast with their service. The drive though people always have a smile. The addition of asking if you'd like different types of salsa is a nice addition. They will give you both if you want them. The tacos are wrapped perfectly and can be refrigerated if you want to put one away to eat the next day. The drive though always goes quickly and their food is fresh with a smile.
The drive through lines can get crazy long on Friday nights but the food is worth the wait.

Another great meal at Taco Palenque! This time we had breakfast. The eggs over easy were perfect, not runny at all. The refried beans were on point and the mild ranchero sauce was perfectly mild for me!☺️ I’m so glad they are opening a Taco Palenque in my hometown Eagle Pass! 🦅
Customer service and good cooking are languages of their own. I don't speak Spanish and alot of the staff here doesn't speak English... But the level of connection via friendliness and good food is unmatched here. This is my second visit here and the staff is always smiling and happy, they seem happy back in the kitchen, never wait to greet me if there is a line, etc. The food is DELICIOUS. Great variety of meats, sides, desserts. Great salsa bar. Clean lobby, tables, and restrooms. Parking lot and play pen are well kept. It's actually surprising to see such a well ran and tasty fast food joint. I will return, and I highly recommend you give them a try.
Although all chains offer the same food and service, I will be reviewing the one by Culebra. First and foremost, the restaurant is open 24 hours, which to me is a big plus, especially since some of my days end really late. Of course the food itself is very good. The interior is what is expected from a fast food restaurant, no frills, an outdoor section, a soda machine, and a complimentary cold bar dead center to accompany the many items you order. This includes, but is not limited to: chips, salsas, jalapeños, cilantro, limes, onions, and diced tomatoes. No guacamole or cream is in the bar, though; that is sold separately.
Atmosphere wise, I believe it to be family friendly. From my experience with restaurants that open 24 hours, I expected the place to be of poor quality but I was proven wrong. It's very clean, the food is really delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I will plan to go again in the future.
This is a fast food type Mexican restaurant. The one thing that makes them stand out a bit I think is the beef fajitas. They are really good. My kids had the nachos, but it was bigger than we thought it would be and seemed to devolve into a sort of artificial cheese soup as they worked down. Get the fajitas...you're welcome.

The food here is very good!! Cooked from scratch and tasty! The portions are very generous and what I would expect for the price. I could eat here every single day. The staff at both locations I’ve been to, Helotes and Culebra/1604 are always so welcoming and friendly and fast. Their margaritas though, have to be the worst I’ve ever had. They should cost $1.50 at most. If you sip one, you’ll sip liquid and end up with a bunch of shaved ice kind of like when you suck all the syrup out of a snow cone. So remember, this is whwre you eat it’s very worth it; get margaritas elsewhere.
If you are hungry this is the perfect place to go. The person that took my order miss understood and gave me everything to go when I only wanted one plate to go and we were going to eat ours there. Great beef quesadillas, and chicken but don't expect the chicken quesadillas on a plate its just in foil, a little greasy but delicious. They have an area so you can self serve guacamole, chips and salsa. They also serve beers and horchata drinks.
This place was very clean being a Mexican restaurant that is fast food. Although it is fast food it is very quality made. The portions close great and they even had a place for the kids to play.
Always good food. Yes, it may be a little pricey,it is always good. The sirloin panchitos are my favorite. The queso is always hot and fresh. The sirloin is very flavorful. And we get to enjoy our food while my son plays in the kids area. 10/10
