I was a bit skeptical about it's almost 5 star rating, but let me tell you, this place IS 5 stars. I got the double cheeseburger and it was great, it had a great flavor and cooked good. Great homemade burger. I got tator tots and they were great too, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. My kiddos got the nuggets kids meal and they loved it. My wife got a chalupa and she said it was great. The guy working the register was friendly and helpful. Any time we're in San Antonio we're definitely coming back. It's kind of isolated, but the great burgers make up for the location.

Little restaurant that we always pass by. Decided to give a try. Walked in to a very warm welcome. Greeted us and told us about their menu. We ordered nachos, a bacon burger and crispy taco. Food was a bit pricey but again what isn't. Worth a shot if ur in the area. By far the best friendliest customer service I have ever experienced any where! Keep up the awesome job guys. For that I will definitely be back. 😀
If there one thing I love neighborhood establishments. This place was a lucky find for me. Food was absolutely amazing! Burger was seasoned perfectly, with fresh veggies with none of that Whataburger lettuce but beautiful green leaf lettuce! Tater tots were cooked to starchy perfection! Rodrigo was super friendly and inviting. If you’re looking for a great new burger place I highly recommend this place! Filès y’all just gained a loyal regular, see y’all soon for round 2!
Yes, make the trip out here with the fam. Yes, it is where the gps is taking you. Yes, it's in the middle of a neighborhood. Yes, you will really enjoy it!
Just like other reviewers, I had File's on my try list for a while. The staff is super friendly, I think File himself runs the register. The decor is awesome, everything I liked about growing up in the 90s. But more importantly, the food is great. Try a little bit of everything if you can, specially the crispy tacos, the best crispy tacos in San Antonio. They do have a drive through but I recommend you make time to dine in. Enjoy y'all!
Went through the drive thru and my order was ready pretty quickly. Super friendly service. First time there, but they made me feel like a regular. Had the cheesy deluxe combo with onion rings. The burger was seasoned well and tasted so good. The onion rings were fantastic and not greasy at all. If you haven't already, try File's. You won't be disappointed.
Always wanted to try this restaurant and finally did. Man I'm mad at myself for not coming sooner. Great atmosphere and the staff is really friendly. The food is made to order and freaking delicious. Burgers, nachos and even the brownies were so good. Well definitely be back
Cozy little dive restaurant. The owner and staff are super welcoming and polite. Burgers are very tasty. Buns are soft just the way they should be. It's one of the best burgers for sure. Fries, tots, and onion rings are all fried to perfection. Also ordered a beef soft taco and a beef crispy taco. These were very, very good as well. I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu. Or another burger 🍔 😋
100 percent this place is awesome !! My boyfriend and I were greeted with a warm smile by the front counter person, no pressure to order right then and there, the food came out so fast, fresh food, the burgers were flavorful, fries were cooked perfectly and so were the onion rings. Everyone was so friendly! The atmosphere was amazing as well. Can’t wait to come back :)

I was looking for a place to eat on the way to the Tech Port Center and found this place on Google. I saw the interior and loved what I saw, I had to visit! I'm a wrestling fan and a gamer so seeing all the banners of old school wrestling shows and retro games really put a smile on my face! Customer service was on point as well! Everyone was friendly and laid back, service was quick and efficient!
I ordered the bacon deluxe burger and the File's Fries, though I switched out the fries for tots. The burger looks simple but it was full of flavor! I can't pinpoint exactly what it is but the burger really hit the spot! The File's tots was a great side to pair with the burger! I loved the amount of cheese they put on it and also how the cheese tasted! It had that satisfying cheese pull every time I went in for another bite! The jalapeños added a little heat and flavor contrast to balance everything out. After all that, I was still hungry so I ordered some onion rings. They were crisp and well seasoned. I wish I could have added it to my burger to elevate its greatness every further!
Next time I'm in San Antonio and I'm in the mood for a burger, I'm going back to Filé's Burgers! I loved the atmosphere and the service, which are just cherries on top for their awesome food!
I'm so glad we decided to try Filé's! The staff was really friendly! The restaurant was extremely clean. The food was awesome, everything was fresh and HOT! If you're looking for a fresh homemade burger this is your place. The onion rings were crispy and had a good flavor. They really won my heart with the cheese tots, they were crispy and oohh so cheesy. My son also loved his chicken nuggets!
