Took us nearly a year to make it but it was definitely worth the wait! From the friendly staff, to the food and the drinks everything was excellent. Loved the out door patio and the atmosphere. Most definitely recommend this place to everyone. We'll be back soon! Fyi, the chingaso was amazing!
I wanted to try Habanero's "Chingaso" while we were passing through San Antonio last year but discovered there was a three person minimum to order this drink. So when the opportunity arose again last week, I made sure it happened. Habanero's did not disappoint!!! Our group of friends & family (8) loved it. The Chingaso was amazing, as was the delicious food--we had two orders of nachos stacked with chicken and steak and all the extras. There wasn't a chip left on the plate. Our bartender was fun, enthusiastic and she even took a picture with us. All in all, we had a blast!!! Good food, great drinks, and super reasonable prices. Well worth the stop. Can't wait to go back!
Pleasantly surprised by this place. The lady who helped us said that they were better than Chipotle, and she wasn't wrong. They have home made tortillas which are amazing. They give you a lot of food for what you pay. Husband an I tried out the shredded chicken, sweet pork and brisket. All were really good. Staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They have a nice seating area, along with a large seating area outside. The place is very festive. Will definitely go again and recommend to others.
The wife and I tried Habanero's Grill for the very first time. We both thought the food was really good. They even have homemade tortillas which is pretty awesome. They keep the inside of the restaurant nice looking and clean. Note: The sink in the men's restroom is large enough to take a bath in. Takeaway... Good food, good atmosphere, good prices, and plenty of room for washing your hands... (Men's restroom only).
A fantastic place for a bite to eat. Their burritos are delicious and so late that they can actually stand up on end without being held up. Additionally, the staff are incredibly nice and helpful and the prices are very fair (even offering happy hour pricing on most days). I highly recommend giving the place a shot.
This place is great the staff is extremely friendly I've been there twice and every time I was instantly greeted they have a plethora of choices and everything looked fresh I had nachos with beef fajita meat I also added spicy ground beef. And when I say they have plenty of toppings there is definitely plenty of them to go around. It was a little pricey for some nachos in the drink but in this case it was well worth it I enjoyed my experience. I will be back!!!
First time going and everything was great. Friendly staff, service was awesome, food and drinks were delicious. We will definitely be back!!!
As a San Antonio transplant, the best way I could describe this place chipotle but way better (and I don't even like chipotle)
I had the cheesy beef burrito and it was delicious. Honestly I don't know how I've missed this restaurant living on this side of town for so long. There are so many choices, speciality burritos and create your own options alike. The staff was incredibly pleasant to boot!
I understand they have fantastic margaritas, but opted for beer instead. They have dogfish head on tap, lagunitas, freetail, etc but dogfish head won me over. I have all intentions of returning for a second round!

Friendly staff. I would recommend this place for lunch and dinner. As for their breakfast I'm unsure of.

Small but comfortable. Indoor & outdoor dining. Musical entertainment. Great place to chill with a giant Margarita. They are generous with the portions & friendly. Ingredients are very fresh & well prepared. You'll get the most bang for your buck here. So glad they're in my neighborhood. Way better than Freebirds! Wish I could eat there every day! DELICIOUS!!!
Do not pass this place when you're looking for quality food and great customer service. The owner Chris knows how to set up a delectable adventure of the taste buds. The executive chef Rudy knows how to cook it to where "good to the last bite" is an understatement. Get the Chipotle tortilla and fill it with their sweet pork,you won't want to try those other burrito places ever again. They smoke their own meat here and all ingredients are freshly made in house.
On top of that, the customer service is fantastic. They go above and beyond to ensure every customer receives top-quality service. Christian, specifically, truly impressed me (and I'm a former restaurant manager, so I'm critical with service standards). This is my second time here in just as many business days because I don't want to go anywhere else to eat.
If you want to be "wowed" by a restaurant then stop here. I know I'll be back many times in the near future!
Great food, courteous staff. Beats the heck out of the big chain places. The meat was tender, well spiced, and delicious. Go for the build your own and you will not be disappointed. Worth the drive, worth the wait. Prices are super reasonable. I will come back and bring the kids.
