Hands down best breakfast taco spot. Try their chorizo and egg or carne guisada. I live downtown and go here once a week. Everything else is good as well. They use American cheese on their nachos and enchiladas, which I love.

Great food, fast service economical lunch specials. One of the best Mexican food places in San Antonio. When I moved to the SA I was expecting great Mexican food, I quickly was disappointed with the quality of Mexican food. When I found Brenda’s it put a smile on my face. They know how to make extremely good Mexican food. The tortillas are made fresh and they are a-maz-ing, try not to eat to many.

Today was my first time here. My first impression was the place was clean, and they had a friendly wait staff, I was immediately greeted with smiles. We were free to sit anywhere we choose.our waiter for lunch was Ace(very attentive). My wife had the daily special and I had empanadas for the first time(OMG). The food was well seasoned. And complemented by great tasting tea. overall it was a great dining experience. No complaints from me.

I had the enchiladas verdes and my wife had the chile relleno. Both were delicious along with the rice, beans, and mini salad topped with avocado. Everything tasted fresh including the salsa served with the chips. Service was great and prices were very reasonable. I have zero complaints. Will be back for sure!
