Nice place to relax and enjoy a meal with the family :) we ate on the covered patio so my kids could play. We loved that they have misters and fans the patio to help you cool down. Staff was friendly and attentive. Wish i could remember our waitresses name because she was awesome! Food was great and the portions were huge! Didnt take pics of everything we got but heres the chicken fried steak, the kids chicken fingers, fried pickles and the lavaca burger! We digged all of it. Definitely will return. Oh and the patio is dog friendly too even have a spot on the menu just for them :)

Y'all should definitely come on down to the patio!! The food here is so so so good!! I have enjoyed everything I've tried and can't wait to make my way through the rest of the menu as I keep coming back for more. The service has always been fantastic and super friendly. The owners are very involved and do their best to make sure everyone is happy. It is a very welcoming and comfortable environment. The staff is wonderful and I sincerely hope you give this place a chance and come on down

Not a bad little plane on the Southside of downtown San Antonio. Very friendly staff who give their honest recommendations. Nice beer selection.
They are also very dog friendly. They have a dedicated party of their menu for dog food and dessert items.
Nice place to have a drink and watch the game. Food is just okay but I think this is more of a hangout or bar than restaurant. Will definitely be back.

The LaVaca Burger is worth the trip. The beef is cooked perfectly while the brisket adds a special smokey flavor. It could use a sauce, maybe something with a kick. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. We went during a rainstorm so we didn't sit on the patio, but there's plenty of seating if you don't mind making new friends. Also, chicken fried steak with QUESO. Get into it! The side salad looked a little wilted, but you're not coming here for the veggies. Solid. Would go back.

Favorable first visit.
Things we liked: fried pickles were not too salty and very tasty. They have a really good honey mustard. The fried cheese bites were fresh, not frozen. There is a "pick-2" appetizer option which was nice, a tweak to work out is the bartender said they had a "pick-3" option which I would have preferred but it "wasn't in the system yet." Good 80s rock/pop music selection and a kid play zone. Overall atmosphere was laid back bar.
Things that need work: Ordering. We had to go to the bar first, have the bartender write us a ticket, go wait at a table for a waitress and give her the ticket to order. I figure this is just a new place kink that will get worked out.

The Lava Lamp cocktail is my favorite. The onion chips needed salt and the poblano burger was dry. Great drinks! (Plenty of places nearby to eat)

Wonderful staff and a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Took a large group to dinner and the service was fast and very friendly. The prices were also very reasonable. Owner checked on us frequently. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a chill vibe and amazing food! No photos because we very too busy enjoying the awesome fried pickles, chips and salsa and chicken fried steak!

We had really enjoyable evening with another couple at this very casual and inviting venue in Southtown. It was a pleasure to meet the owner James, and for that we will continue to patronize this establishment. The atmosphere was comfortable, the wait staff were very friendly and our food was excellent. The nachos, were abundant and very good, but the peach cobbler was exceptional. Unfortunately, our one and only criticism was the slow service, for this reason alone, I didn’t give a fifth star. All of us will return and pass the word about the delicious and very reasonably priced food at the Patio.

Was into for a family vacation. Saw this place on Yelp, so we decided to cost. The Burgers are great. The queso with grilled chicken was tasteful. I preferred for it to be bit more warmer, but the taste was great. The customer service was unmatched. I would definitely visit if I was in town again

It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the chips and queso as an appetizer and was very impressed! The queso was homemade and delicious! I got the bacon cheeseburger and loved it! The patty was thick and hardy, extremely juicy and the cheese was perfectly melted. The food took a while to come out but don't be discouraged because it is fresh, hot and definitely worth the wait! The whole menu sounds amazing too. I can't wait to come back and try something different. Highly recommend 10/10

A great place for great food and great service! Located in the middle of Southtown, it has a good menu with a full bar in case you want a drink with your meal. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the waitstaff is awesome. The menu has a variety of items, but I had the cheeseburger and fries, which the burger is handmade and delicious! They are also pet friendly and provide a bowl for their water which is very cool. Definitely going back! I forgot to take a pic because I dug in as soon as I was served, but next time!

Amazing staff & phenomenal food! The Owner James is always hospitable & welcoming! We have never had a bad experience here & our family & friends love this place as much if not more than we do! Love that you added a pooch menu for our loving fur babies 🐾🖤 FYI: the deep fried bacon strips are a must try😉

We came for lunch today and the service started off slow.. The Manger came out and made everything right. When the food came out it was hot and everything was delicious. No disappointment and he came out again just to see how the food was. Loved the atmosphere, the shaded play area for the kids. We definitely will be back 👍🏼( Maybe for date night soon.)

The place is so cute. Cold beer and quick service. Bartender was new but she was sweet and attentive so made up for her newbie-ness. The place has a great environment. Check out the food you won’t be disappointed - the queso was amazing, shrimp P.O. boy was amazing, sweet chili chicken bites amazing... 10/10 would recommend!

Our server, Jessica remembered us from our visit on the soft open, and she was great. The blackened salmon was INCREDIBLE. The chicken fried steak was good. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. The kid play area is a nice touch. Really hoping we have yet another successful neighborhood hot spot.

It was our first time and I was craving a hamburger. Now since I only treat myself to a burger like one every four months I did not know if it was a wise decision. Well it was the best decision ever. Great burger and fries. Will definitely be going back. And it has a full bar.

The food was delicious. I had the chopped brisket burger, it was tasty and so were the fries. I also tried the blackened salmon, way better than a big chain restaurants. I also like that they have a play area for the kids outside. We will be going back again.

Where do I begin?!?!From the second we got there and explained we had about 20-25 people coming for dinner for my birthday,Steve Garza took over and went above and beyond any manager I've ever dealt with!We had the gorgeous patio area all to ourselves,the kids were playing in the little play area,the salsa for the chips and salsa that I ordered for every table was delicious;not to mention our food and delicious drinks!I cook and run a kitchen for a living,and these guys rocked it!Our new favorite hang out!The misters on the fans outside also kept us all feeling great too!Thanks again for EVERYTHING guys!����

My Wife and I had the opportunity to check out Jeff Scecina 's new restaurant, The Patio at Southtown yesterday. Excellent! The food from the chips and very excellent salsa (which could beat out Manuels) to the onion rings to Vicki's Ultimate Queso to my Lavaca Burger was awesome!! Even the kids chicken fingers were like mini chicken fried chicken steaks. The staff was incredible as well. Definitely worth checking out when in San Antonio!
