They were a bit off this time. The county is that a burrito wasn't very good. Everything else was okay. I really like him but this time I just feel like everything was a little bit old

I have no complaints really about Taco Cabana. I really enjoyed their chicken fajitas, but I do have one concern. Why are they so chincy with their salsa and pico de gallo, I mean, it's gonna go bad in 24 hours. You're asking for an extra. And they act like it's the end of world. Or they have to call management. I'm Hispanic. I can make my own I know what goes into it. and it seems kind of ridiculous the way they treat this condiment. Anyway, that's my observation food's good. I like it if you have any. Comments Let me know: oh, La palapas is even worse. If you ask for extra, they'll give you 2 containers about the size of a thimble. Ridiculous.

Went inside to order to go when I got home and opened the tacos there was so much grease all over everything, the bag...my car seat...the tortillas....got a bean and chorizo taco and carne guisada taco.... it all tasted good but really messy to eat..... I'm glad I was going home and not to work as I wouldn't have been able to eat it at my desk.....a little disappointed in that.....i had the clean my car seat quickly so tacos were cold by the time i was done... but the place inside was clean and the food did taste good just very very greasy messy.....nice cashier girl....but wont order to go there anymore

The salsa bar was pretty bare with the slightest slither of two of the salsas and a skimpy pico (I wound up getting a ramekin then tossing it because it tasted off/rancid). I asked the cashier if they could put out more salsa on the bar, and instead of them doing that, she handed me my bag saying there was salsa in there. There were three regular red salsas, but I did want the fuego and other options. I asked for it to go so I wouldn't have to bother them, knowing I would not finish all my combo there. I then asked again, and it seemed as if I were distressing them. A male employee addressed the situation and brought out fresh salsas. I asked him for a lid for my drink because the first employee didn't restock after I asked for one while asking about the salsa bar. I love condiments and one draw for me to be a patron at Taco Cabana is access to the jalapenos and salsas. There used to be much more variety and even lemons/limes and cilantro sprigs before. Now, the only thing I can count on being full is pickled jalapenos; I'm guessing it's because there is no prep involved in pouring them straight from a jar versus having to make salsa and cut veggies for pico. This is not the TC I frequent so maybe I got used to the prompt guest service at the one near my house. Chips were somewhat on the stale side. I do like that this location has self serve refills for their tea and soda area. That was probably the highlight of my visit tonight.

Every establishment can face operational hiccups, and Taco Cabana was no exception. On one occasion, my order was unfortunately left incomplete due to the store's early closing. As someone who regularly sponsors a breakfast at Champions Real Estate School, relying on Taco Cabana's prompt service is essential for me. However, what truly sets a business apart is not the absence of mistakes, but how they handle and rectify them. I was genuinely impressed when the District Manager took note of my initial review and not only addressed the oversight but also went the extra mile to ensure my subsequent orders were completed without a hitch. Such dedication to customer satisfaction is commendable and is indicative of a brand that values its patrons. While I deducted a star for the initial oversight, I added it back because of the commendable service recovery by the management. Taco Cabana continues to be my go-to for the breakfasts I sponsor, and I appreciate the team's commitment to ensuring consistent service quality. Would recommend, and I hope that this spirit of customer-centric service permeates throughout all Taco Cabana locations.

Haven't been to the original location in many years and it didn't disappoint. I quit going to any other location a couple of years ago because they collectively were terrible Bad service but more importantly the food was really bad from several franchise locations. So finding ourselves in San Antonio we HAD to visit the San Pedro location and I'm glad we did. The food was as good as I remembered, steak fajitas were tender and full of flavor and a chicken taco salad was just as good. Sad the other locations didn't measure up but when we're back in SA the original location is a must stop.
