First off, I love a good bagel. I search for and try to have a bagel in every city I visit. Ive had bagels from coast to coast including highly regarded stops in NYC. Let me tell ya, this place is the real deal. Their cream cheese selection is amazing and runs the gambit from spicy to sweet and a little of everything in between. They have a wide selection of different flavored bagels that can be made into sandwiches or enjoyed with one of their spreads. I had a bacon, ham, sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with jalapeno lime cream cheese on an everything bagel. Then I split a french toast bagel with bday cake cream cheese with my wife. Hands down the best bagels I can recall ever having. What made it even better, the baker stopped by the table with a basket of fresh from the oven plain bagels and gave us one to try hot. Fresh from the oven the skin was slightly crisp and the middle blazing hot and chewy. I was in bagel heaven. They take what they do seriously and their product is a reflection of that. To top it off they make great lattes and coffee drinks. I will miss this place when we leave and will certainly return if we end up back in San Antonio.

This place blew everything out of the water! I couldn't stop "omg so good" with every single bite, literally! We went on a Sunday and it was absolutely packed, but moved really fast. You aren't waiting around for forever to get your food, Which was really nice. We didn't stay to dine in, we had other things to do that day. The bagels were so soft and fresh. We ordered 2 slammin salmons, but the person only put in for 1, so I had to get back in line. No biggie. And also ordered a rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese, I have a birthday cake flavored anything obsession. It was good, but not sweet like you'd think. Thank goodness. I am so excited to come back over and over again to try other sandwiches and cream cheeses! And I heard the drinks are phenomenal, but didn't order any this go around. Definitely will next time. 🤤

Was my first time here with my landscaping crew. The lady at the register was super friendly and had good recommendations. I ordered what she had recommended as her favorite bagels. I ordered the French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese and it was the best. The mocha latte was good also. Would definitely come here again.

(10/23) Had another great experience with Boss Bagels. They delivered to us and the bagel sandwiches were so good! Tried the yardbird this time and loved it. Highly recommend. (10/22) We did a catering order with them and Katie the owner was so great as was the staff ! So on top of things and so nice! The bagel sandwiches were fantastic!! They were a hit with our team. Hardest part was deciding which one to get! Highly recommend!

This place never disappoints! We have been going for a couple of years now, and never have had an issue, both take out and dine in. The bagel sandwiches are outstanding and oh so tasty. The portions are huge and very filling. An excellent value. The staff is cheerful and helpful. We'll be back again.

Love this place, the bagels are amazing, I love that you can watch them cook through the viewing glass. The line can get long, but that speaks to the love for Boss Bagel! They have a large assortment of cream cheese that is fun to try out on their delicious bagels or bagel sandwiches. I deducted a star solely because of one thing: when you wait in line, order your food and pay, they flip the iPad over to ask for a tip which they have programmed to START at 30%, then 25%, then 20%. Amazingly high default tip especially for the fact that you have not been served nor received your food. I find this practice tacky and uncomfortable. 5 starts otherwise but mentally prepare yourself as you stand in front of the cashier with no food in hand and no service rendered, to default to a 30% tip.

I love this place! First off, the people here are incredible. I came here twice in one week while visiting- don’t judge me, it’s good and who cooking? Not me😂. My friends and I were greeted immediately coming in. They have every flavor of cream cheese you can think of and they have no problem letting you try one, two or all! So the first day I came they didn’t have the French toast bagel available and I heard it was really good- had to be because it was gone! Lol so I got the Hangover Cure!! Mannnneee you betta watch yourself! It was so good! It’s a mighty breakfast sandwich so I was able to save half and it came in handy later on in the day! Now let’s get into this caramel latte I had…. Yeah get it!!! If you want a goooooood cup of coffee - order you a cup of joe! Treat yo self!!!! When I came the second time, I was able to secure the French toast sandwich and It held up to the hype! The staff was also kind enough to show us the bagel making process which I had no idea about. It’s gotta boil for it to be a bagel… remember that! Overall, a great experience here and would recommend this place to anyone. These are certainly the people you want to serve you a great bagel and an awesome cup of coffee in the morning! Certainly added to my trip and I learned something new! Stop by!!! #TELLEMGABBBSENTYA

Best bagels in San Antonio! You can watch them make the bagels fresh! The smear is amazing and they definitely load so you won’t have to worry about getting the “dry” bagel and smear. Coffee is solid and at a reasonable price for this kind of place. 5/5 stars

Boss Bagel is amazing! Their bagels are made fresh in house and are very tasty. I recommend the Bee Sting. They also have a great dirty chai. It’s very comfy and the staff have all been very nice every time I’ve gone.

Great bagels but be prepared to take the food to go because there is very limited seating at the restaurant. The bagels are crisp on the outside and super moist on the inside. There are 4 tofu schmears to choose from and they are all delicious. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they are really bad at following the order directions. Each time I am there they toast the bagel when I tell them not to toast it or vice versa - every single time! This is despite the order being taken correctly. And the amount of schmear is very inconsistent - if you get it on the side you get a big cup of it but on the bagel it is quite literally barely there! At least that is my experience with the tofu schmear. The tables next to me seem to get gobs of dairy schmear and they didn't even have to pay the upcharge for the tofu option. Definitely a great bagel choice - I just have to start watching them make my order!

See Greg Minnick’s review and add a plus one. I do t know Greg but we must be kindred spirits because I am always on the hunt for a great bagel. This is the second best bagel I have ever had. And that is not a slight because my number one spot is the most off the chain bagel shop I have ever seen and is a bit of a pain to patronize. Thanks for the great bagel and cheerful service

Oh my gosh! My first time ordering from here (San Antonio airport). We ordered three different bagels and they were amazing! The bagels were fresh, tasty and had a nice serving of the meat/egg/cheese choices. Not skimpy on ingredients - very pleased!

I am here almost weekly. Probably the best bagels in SA. I usually get plain but recently tried Rosemary Chili at the airport because it was the only flavor they had left (it was like 1pm)... HOLY COW. The flavor!! Seriously packed with amazing flavor!! I was blown away. The combination of rosemary and chili was something I never knew I'd love. Now I'm obsessing and hoping they never stop making that flavor!! I'll be devastated. The employees are always so nice. I drive across town weekly for these bagels. They also have tons of flavors of schmears. It's just a great place!

Best bagels in San Antonio! The rosemary red chili bagel is one of the best I’ve ever had. They have a wide variety of Schmears and different bagels as well. They offer breakfast sandwhiches with different meats and toppings. Their coffees drinks are excellent and made to order. If you’re in the area you Absolutely can’t miss it!

We decided to try Boss Bagel on a Saturday morning for brunch and were super excited to go there! We arrived and the area was really packed—kinda hard to find parking. Once inside, the place was boomin. There were two different lines so we were quite confused as to which line to be a part of. We found out that the left line was for picking up orders and the right line was for ordering, which was curved around to the door. We waited in line for 16 minutes. Together we ordered the Slammin Salmon & the Hangover Cure. For drinks, we ordered the Chai Latte & a Cortado. Slammin Salmon: 8/10. I thought it was really delicious, but I could’ve done without the dill shmear. Hangover Cure: 7/10. Solid breakfast sandwich. Chai Latte: 8/10. Should’ve requested lighter ice so I could’ve had more drink. Cortado: 6/10. Good, but not as good as at a specialty coffee shop. There wasn’t much indoor seating so we ended up eating our food at an outside table. Overall the quality and atmosphere were great! The only thing to keep in mind is that it took a while to get in, place an order, and receive the food. If you’re in a rush, highly recommend placing the order beforehand for pickup!

Best bagel sandos in SA! 😍 And I love that there's a location in the airport now, right by the Southwest gates. Customize your sando with the bagel flavor of your choice - all are delicious, with great chew. Not *quite* a NY bagel, but close... - or they have a friggin *wondrous* buffet of cream cheese schmear if you decide to go the purist route.

Warning: this place will completely redefine your standards when it comes to breakfast and bagel sandwiches . I decided to order their take on a classic smoked salmon breakfast sandwich, and it was without exaggeration the most delicious one I’ve had in my life. The homemade spread, the freshness of the fish… It just defied all expectations. I grew up near NYC, and this is still one of, if not the best, bagel shops I’ve ever been to.
