Camaron Pelado Seafood Grill

I recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to go eat there the food is very good I give him 100%, also they're very friendly they treat you like family with respect with smile they have cold beers you name it I like to go there and eat the fish plate and my husband likes to eat the fish soup and they also have garlic soup and it's very good oh my goodness anyway I recommend anybody that wants to go eat there I give them 100%. I also put the five stars cuz it's very good

I'm not sure of the negativity of some reviews. I certainly understand that all of this is based on personal experience good or bad and therefore valid to whomever posted. I will say this, I have dined here perhaps 7 or 8 times within the last 2 yrs sans pandemic and was always treated well by all staff and more than happy with the quality of everything consumed. I had raw oysters, whole Tilapia fried and stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp. They all hit or exceeded the mark. Brought a couple of the stuffed shrimp to a friend and she said they were "the bomb" as I already knew. That was yesterday. She phoned today to ask directions to pick some up for dinner and told me her grandson thought they were "da bomb" as well. Thank you all for your time. The Food was delicious! We ordered a shrimp cocktail and a pound of peel your own shrimp that was sautéed and seasoned. The waitress, manager or owner was very knowledgeable and kind and very wiling to help with the menu and customize our order to our liking. Very attentive. We also had their famous caldo de ajo which was as always very good. Complimentary chips and salsa were served as we sat to contemplate our order. The food was great, however, the restaurant itself could use some cleaning and updating. The outside area could potentially scare off customers that have no idea how great the food is. Just some painting and cleaning of the parking lot would help a lot. We miss the location on the south side so much but we still drive to the west side to eat here.

The fish at this place is always perfect and the rice is one of my favorites. The waitresses are always smiling and kind and helpful and the owner or manager (not sure which one he is) is happy and jokes around and is very relaxed and always makes sure you leave satisfied or he will make it right. I go here during my lunch break all the time and have been doing so for years and will continue to do so for many more!
