Saltgrass Steak House

Love saltgrass, always have. The food is amazing, always fresh. The staff is friendly, typically quick service. I got the steak salad, medium, with a side of chimchurri sauce or however you spell it lol delicious. The texas tea was good, just not very strong. 100% recommend that salad with a side of that sauce. Yum.

What a great meal after my son's Trinity University Football Team victory. Our server, Ana, provided exceptional customer service and was extremely attentive. I highly recommend the baked sweet potato, it was mouth-watering. I'm not much of a meat-eater, but I was pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian options. My daughters devoured their fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs & juicy steak kid meals. My offensive lineman annihilated his steak and was actually too full for dessert. The only reason I'm not giving this dining experience 5 stars is the hard bread. It was difficult to cut even with a steak knife. The warm, soft, delicious bread with the whipped butter at the Houston location has us spoiled.

I haven’t been to this chain restaurant in many years, because I usually avoid chain restaurants in general. However, this particular restaurant offered excellent steaks, friendly and competent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely come back here anytime. I am in the mood for steak and I don’t feel like making it myself. The 16 ounce ribeye with two sides, and a Caesar salad was plenty for my wife and I to both enjoy.

We have been frequenting Saltgrass steak house since last summer! Every experience is a bit different. Food was great and on point! Well seasoned and cook to temp. Potato soup was a bit thick and grainy. Service was ok, even walking in had a dull unexciting greet and feel. Server seemed to be more scriptive rather then genuinely happy to serve us. She did make suggestions to up sell, a better pitch and we would have added shrimp to our steaks.
