I call in an order of Puffy Tacos. They said it would take ten minutes or so. Bye the time I arrived my order was ready. The ladies was very very kind and the food was amazing. The price are right too. Great to see a place doing so well.

We found this gem just as our office is about to move. The enchiladas are great but I actually think I like the fish more. The tartar sauce is good and the fish is crispy, hot, and fresh. Three large pieces of fish with fries for $9.50. You can’t beat that. I also want to try the chicken sometime. No matter what you’re feeling this hole-in-the-wall can fill you up.

Visiting relatives and my cousin brought me here ordered the beef puffy tacos they were absolutely delicious. Will bring rest of family here Lord willing. The young Lady taking our order on the curb was very nice and efficient. Will bring rest of family here it was so good and affordable.

Oscar’s taco house is one of my favorites on the Southside. The puffy tacos are always crunchy and tasty. Please do t ever change the recipe. The fish plate is delicious. The tartar sauce is just the right amount of pickle. Our server this visit was a bit inattentive but usually very friendly, helpful and attentive.

What can I say...this is old school goodness... the food is on point .. and the rice was so fluffy and delicious..
They have great lunch specials..chicken fried steak and more.. the staff were fast and very nice..

Oscar’s has been a regular stop for us the last 30 years. I enjoy eating the fried fish and that’s what keeps me returning to Oscar’s. Others in my party have ordered the Mexican dishes and I have heard no complaints. So if you are looking for a local dining experience and in the mood for fried fish or Mexican food then give Oscar’s a try. You won’t be disappointed. The only wish for me is that Oscar’s provide other healthier options to fries.
