My great grandmother used to come here when I was just a kid still the same grade tortillas that I remember they also have Barbacoa by the pound or a special I recommend coming here and try it out for yourself. Tortillas are made daily fresh here in store.
The barbacoa was very moist and not super greasy, it tasted delicious!!! The pork tamales crumbled as you took them out of their husk but still tasted good. We ordered through DoorDash and were very pleased with the packaging. I definitely recommend you try this place!

The older gentleman was so adorable lol and so very kind in taking a break from crafting tortillas - with his hands still coated in flour & dough - to make absolutely sure I understood that there are no preservatives in the tortillas, so they should be stored in the fridge to prevent them from growing a science project really quickly. Thanks, sir!

Barbacoa was fantastic and truly the best I’ve had in quite some time. Unfortunately, their tortillas must not have been made that day. I wet them slightly before warming them and they come right back but they’re not as good as I would have liked.

The barbacoa from here is THE BEST, all fresh food! Very original place to go, one of the oldest places in San Antonio! Special is only $12 very hard to beat and they include a FREE Big Red soda, nobody else in San Antonio does that anymore.
Oh my Word, this molino tortilla factory is Wonderful all around. Rarely do you find a food dispensary that provides quality, quantity, and affordability all under one roof. This place has become my choice for barbacoa and all molino related food. Located downtown makes it a go to on Saturdays to get breakfast takeout for work. You get a lot of food with delicious flavor at an affordable price. It doesn't get any better than this place. Sanitary Tortilla Co. is the BEST! I always recimmend this place to all and I do it for free. Free marketing is my gift to them. Come down to try the barbacoa, tamales, tortillas, etc...
Barbacoa special is my go to on the weekends. There is very little fat in their barbacoa which is a plus for me but I understand others may desire it. Their green salsa complements their food quite well. I can't back the banner they have in front claiming "Best Tortilla in town" but that is a personal bias. I'm used to tortillas with a different texture. Still, I'd eat theirs if I didn't have any from my primary tortilla selection. Staff is friendly and bilingual.
Very. VERY good food. Service was excellent and the food amazing. The best Vegan Mexican street tacos we have ever had, and we KNOW street tacos. HIGHLY recommend trying them out
We ate some of the best Mexican sandwiches. The place is very small but the food they serve was excellent. I recommend this place for visitors and even locals.
