Halftime Pizza

A small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! We have been customers since it first opened and still eat here frequently. Definitely a go-to place with family, friends, coworkers and after a sports game with the entire team. Variety to choose from pizza, wings, pizza rolls, chicken wrap, spaghetti and other items that are delicious. Ryan, Ethel and Anthony provide exceptional customer service.

Service was second to none! Employees were very attentive and polite. We had a party of at least 24 people. Food was AMAZING. The pizza was to perfection, loved the crust from front to back. The pizza rolls were unique in their own way. They were sliced at an angle and perfectly cheesy!! Fried mushrooms had a perfect crust and were just the right size to dip into the homemade ranch. Last, but deff not least, the WINGS WERE ON POINT! Best wings in town hands down! Im very picky about my wings, these come out crispy and saucy/juicy. Can’t say enough, you have to just go and see for yourself. Thanks for the wonderful experience and excellent service! See y’all soon

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Halftime Pizza and I cannot express how impressed I was with my experience. Firstly, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the owner for generously providing us with a gift card at the O'Connor Football BBQ. This act of kindness was a great way to entice us to visit, and I am so glad we did! Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere immediately caught my attention. The vibrant sports-themed decor and the energizing buzz of conversation created a fantastic ambiance, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends. The management truly knows how to set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Speaking of memorable, I had the pleasure of meeting the owners themselves, who took the time to introduce themselves and chat with us. Not only were they incredibly friendly, but they also provided us with excellent recommendations on what to try from their menu. Their passion for their craft was evident, and it definitely showed in the food. Let's talk about the food – it was exceptional! The wings were nothing short of amazing, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each bite was packed with flavor, and I couldn't get enough. The pizza rolls were another highlight of the meal. They were crispy on the outside, oozing with cheese and toppings on the inside. Absolutely delicious! What truly elevated my experience at Halftime Pizza was the outstanding customer service provided by our waitress. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and always sporting a genuine smile. She went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of throughout our entire meal. I was truly impressed by her professionalism and genuine friendliness. All in all, my visit to Halftime Pizza was a 5-star experience. From the generous gift card received, to the incredible atmosphere, exceptional management, and the outstanding customer service provided by our waitress, everything about this place exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Halftime Pizza to anyone looking for a great meal, friendly ambiance, and a memorable dining experience. Stopped in to grab some pizza rolls that I have heard so much about and had a beer and Buffalo cauliflower bites while I was waiting. I met Ryan the GM. He is a really nice guy. I enjoyed our chat. The employees there are just as friendly. The atmosphere was so nice. The cauliflower bites were sooo good. The beer Ryan chose for me was also sooo good. Brought home the pizza rolls and my family devoured them and wanted more. I should have gotten the 10. Next time Ryan. Thank you so much for your hospitality and delicious food. I will be back for sure. I can’t wait to try the BLT pizza.

We have lived in San Antonio for 5 years and just now found this amazing pizza gem! Food is delicious and service is excellent! The Garlic Knots were yummy but could’ve had a little more garlic. We had Calzones (what? Vegan calzones; yes please!) that were delicious but vegan cheese rarely melts and was solid in the center. Regardless, this was the BEST calzone I’ve ever had. I ordered a calzone with vegan pepperoni, caramelized onions and black olives; and my husband ordered a calzone with vegan sausage, caramelized onions and black olives. We both enjoyed our calzones but he says next time he will order the pepperoni—which is quite peppery but still yummy. The beer is great but they do not have a beer menu to select from. It would be nice if they had a tap list readily available but the options were still great. Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!
