Wow! Hard to believe anyone bothers going to eat tex mex. This authentic Mexican seafood place is where it's at! Shrimp Veracruzana and also the whole fried fish is awesome! The 2 salsas offered with the meal are equally flavorful and spicy. I'm definitely going back and I recommend everyone try it out. Mmmmmm dang!
Great service wonderful people great chef 👨🍳 food was served within reasonable time excellent food
This is a place you must experience especially if you like seafood. The Aguas Chiles is my favorite dish next to the bacon wrapped shrimp plate. You can’t go wrong with Las Plebe's (the beer with shrimp) to wash it all down or as a 6pack meal. lol. Make sure to go early because this place gets packed on the weekends.
I had an incredible dining experience at this seafood restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My favorite dish, the agua chile, was an explosion of flavors. The freshness of the seafood and the tangy spice were perfection. To top it off, they had Toni Cola soda from Mexico, which was a delightful and authentic touch. I can't wait to come back for more
The best Aguachiles I've had so far!!! Super super spicy and citrusy. Service was super fast and menu is straightforward. There isn't descriptions of the food so you need to ask waitress for further details. They have live music at night. Was pretty loud but at least the band was good!
I need to come back to try more of their dishes.
First time in San Antonio & this restaurant was amazing. The food was very good and tasty. I ordered a agua mineral preparada & a michelada.
The server was nice & very attentive.
We were looking for a seafood restaurant here, since we are from out of town, found this place online. The place was packed but the wait time was not long. Waited about 15 minutes. The customer service was pretty good. The food came in fast and it was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I have enjoyed Lunch and Dinner here several times. Service is great , food is delicious. Never had any issues with my order or service . Live music is a bit too loud considering the place is small and the live entertainment comes out a bit loud. Be prepared to eat and listen to the live music not chit chat. One other issue I have , is the staff takes it upon themselves to add on the GRATUITY even though you are party of 2 or 3. Not sure why its done , but in my case they tend to short change themselves. I always tip more than 25%.
My mom brought me here for the 1st time. The food was flavory & hot. Waitress did a great job. Place was cold n clean. Will definitely hit up this place again!!
My husband wanted to have a seafood soup on a Monday night, so we decided to have dinner at Mariscos El Marinero. He ordered the fish and shrimp soup and I ordered the whole fried tilapia. My husband is picky about the quality of his food, well this was a hit in his opinion. The soup had so much flavor and it wasn’t just shrimp and fish it had veggies too which was great. The fried tilapia was good too. Even on a Monday night this restaurant was full, it is a smaller restaurant but good food. We will definitely be returning to eat at Mariscos El Marinero.
So delicious. Friendly, efficient service. The seafood is fresh & prepared well, be it for hot / cooked food, or the cold / marinated ceviches an botanas. Love this restaurant.
Most recently, i loved the seafood mix with abalones & shrimps & surimi & octopus & cucumber & tomato in spicy sauce of the Molcacampechana. My companion loved her La Sinaloense. In the past, the hot-cooked Camarones a la veracruzana was also good, and not at all spicy.
Family-friendly.
Can be loud inside at times, especially if someone hires a mariachi band. Great atmosphere, whatever the situation.
One of the best Mexican food I ever had. The price is just right and the portion size was huge. The fish was fantastically cooked. Inside is juicy and outside is crisp. If I go to San Antonio again, I will definitely come back again.
