Love Puerto Rican and Domincan dishes. The pernil plate was delicious. Ordered tostones and empanadas, they were over fried. Pernil was delicious.

I must say this is very authentic love it definitely feels like you back in PR right by the beach. Food was amazing ,service was great. Definitely home style cooking. Must come ! Rica la comida ! The owner was very welcoming the ladies in the food truck were awesome very nice .

Best food ever!! My boyfriend took me here so I can try some authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. I went there expecting decent food but WOW!!
This place really surpassed my expectations and I had a high expectations 😂 The food is one of the best Puerto Rican food I have tried in Texas, and the service provided was excellent!!! Definitely coming back here!! 💕

Authentic Puerto Rican food, the service, I had an excellent experience on a Friday at 7:00. I ordered my food to go since the heat in Texas at the time was over 100 F. The atmosphere is as if you were in Puerto Rico time, good people, music and the kindness and sympathy of the Puerto Rican. I haven't talked much about the food... it's excellent. I need to finish my mofongo with fried meat... tell me about it!!!

The food was really great. Loved the Cuban sandwich! Pork was tender and juicy. The mofongo was made to order and very tasty and filling. The garlic chicken had a perfect amount of seasoning. Will definitely return and tell others about this place. Looking forward to the restaurant completion.

Finally got to try El Jibarazo and the food and presentation far exceeded my expectations..
( And I was already expecting great things so that’s saying a lot!)
I stopped by this afternoon with my spouse to pick some food up for lunch. We ordered at the truck and sat on the shaded patio to wait. It took about 15-20 minutes to get our food but we didn’t mind. We could smell and see our order being made and when it was ready it was brought to the table we were waiting at with a smile. We hurried home down the street to see what all the buzz was really about and let me just say, this place truly lives up to the hype. Everything was so hot, fresh and flavorful.
We ordered the Mofongo plate with garlic chicken, 4 mini chicken tacos and the rellanos de papa. Incredible flavors. We devoured it all! I recommend to any fan of puerto rican food, or anyone adventurous looking for the next delicious cuisine to try.
We will definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Found these guys at Academy today. I haven't had Puerto Rican food since I moved from NJ in 2003. Let me tell you, it was all so delicious. Reminded me of being back home. My Mom loved it too. Great food at a great price.
