What an awesome afternoon experience! Xzavier and his little helper were over the top with excellent service. The live music was very enjoyable even as he worked through the intermittent rainshowers! The drink sampler was a fun share experience before settling down to a, as always, Pat O'Brien's signature Hurricane! Can't wait to visit again!

Best gumbo I've ever had. Hurricanes are stout & good atmosphere with live music & piano bar.

Great food and service. We enjoyed the live music however, it was a bit loud. We would have preferred to sit outside on the patio, but the music was too loud for that. The musician was very good though.

The beginning and the end of our pub crawl. Friendly service, good food and quality entertainment. Didn't mind sitting outside in >100 F temperatures to listen to the band.

Pat O’Brien’s is one of my favorite places in New Orleans. We stopped by so I could get the étouffée and alligator appetizer… which they don’t have at all at this location. What a bummer! We ended up enjoying a few hurricanes with a muffuletta while we listened to the band play classic rock and 90’s rock. All in all we had a great experience and would suggest popping in for some patio time. I just REALLY wanted that étouffée!

Had our Sunday funday here yesterday and our party sat on the outside patio. The live music provided by Chasing Rabbits was freaking awesome! I went with the blackened chicken nachos. Nachos hit the spot after walking around downtown. The andouille sausage was a nice touch. My other half went with the burger. Of course I had a few bites. She ordered it medium and she got it medium. Burger was juicy and flavorful 💯 4 stars for the service. Our server was personable, but was a little too long winded and slacked when it came time to wrap up our check. Other than that we had a blast. One last thing. The Hurricane was 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 it taste so good you forget there’s alcohol

Visited last weekend and enjoyed a great live band on the gorgeous patio. We had the best server, named Thorne. He was friendly, prompt and he went out of his way to get my brother food, after the kitchen had already closed down. The drinks were good and the bartenders were friendly. Great spot to enjoy live music. They also have a piano bar. Tip for visiting, make sure you enter through Losoya St. Entrance. The Alamo Stm entrance is only an exit. They charged a $3 cover, but take cards and cash!

Great fun place. Good food & drinks. Live music was nice tonight. I had the nachos, they were plentiful & delicious. Chips were plain, like out of a store bought bag...but held up well to the cheese & sour cream. My son had the jambalaya. He said it was a lot. He can eat too. I was surprised he didn't finish it. He liked it, said it was very flavourful. The hurricane is nice & strong, like Jimmy Buffet recommended. I can't give 5 stars because there was a cover charge of $2 pp added to the check and a credit card service fee. There is no signage at the entrance or on the menu to advise or forewarn of these charges. My waitress was excellent. Much better than ones I've had in the past. She was very attentive, smiled, and seemed happy to be doing her job. I'm not sure why they have a cover charge. Seems like just a coy way to make a few extra bucks. Be cautious.

Hands down it ended up being my favorite restaurant in San Antonio while visiting. Originally I expected Irish cuisine, but walking in and seeing German beer steins hanging from the ceiling only intrigued me further. Then when the menu had options like Gumbo and Jambalaya I was hooked! I tried both dishes and they are delicious. The Gumbo is a must try! The patio was great as well, with live music nightly. I had the pleasure of listening to "Island Mind" play while there. Service was amazing and attentive and was great at suggesting options. If I return to the area again, I'll definitely be visiting again.
